also, I (or anyone else here, as far as I know) didn't really invent reaction images. It was a pretty widespread artform on tumblr already, and it probably didn't even originate there either.

also um, hi, DzigaWatt? We haven't met but you seem cool! I'm the new airport ruler around here, you'll... probably see my name around a lot. My talents include making A LOT OF ART VERY FAST, impromptu art history lectures, and being really bad at shutting up........ which is prooobably why my post count piled up as fast as it did. woops.

I'm actually just checking in to say I'm going to bed and trying to isolate myself from the forum all day tomorrow, or at least until I finally finish writing my assignment, as I have been trying for the past few (mentally very trying) days. So if you feel like I'm oddly absent, that's why. And if I'm not absent, please apply a gentle slap upon my countenance. I'll talk to you all later!

That's right, I forgot it's icon change season for you fashion-forward types. 

Ooh, ooh, one other nifty new development here:  Chapter Break Survivor ribbons, courtesy of the fantastic Starfallz.  All the cool kids have them.   8)

Also, over on Disqus we had an *epic* battle with Shotgun Shuffle in the March April May Madness Comics Tournament.  Piney became kinda Internet-famous, so maybe I should let her update you on that.

Hey, just wanted to check in while I have the chance. For any of you in the U.S., you most likely know about the horrible flooding down in Texas. I live in a hill, so I am safe. But others that live in Texas, are you guys ok? Hundreds of houses were destroyed down by my place and a very important bridge too. My internets been spotty because of the constant storm, so I'm glad that I have the chance to check up here.
(Ps. So many people lost their houses that the town had to open up the high school to shelter them all. This means that my Middle School and the High School have both canceled final exams. It's really serious for them to do that  :-[)
