Heh, that is a bold duck...it´s a duck, isn´t it? Did you happen to hold a piece of bread in your hand or are all the birds so willing to come to humans at this place?
We have a duck-family in the stream at our house which are fed by our neighbours. Which leads to near car-accidents with these ducks at least once a day because they always waddle over the street without looking... ;D

They are really tame! no food bribes today but next time there will be.

The image is taken with a 14mm lens so the duck is maybe 4 cm from the camera...

I guess that nobody has hunted them in a while =)

Woof!

Got some fresh air myself. A mountain hike actually. My sprain is mostly healed, the weather is nice for once - things are taking of again! ... Well, I should probably get some work done too before I get carried away.

A while ago I read a flaming speech against the feeding of ducks in a big newspaper because bread is so bad for ducks (almost as bad as chocolate for humans I think ;))...poor ducks, no little treats for you anymore...

Wait, now I´m distressed that my comment somehow got across as dictating what to feed the ducks... I just found it so typical german to be anxious about something like feeding the ducks with food that might be not overly healthy (and how so, ducks never learned to bake...). In some cities are now signs with rules how to feed the ducks, rules are a thing we are obsessed with.
I didn´t want to dictate you what to feed them...
And now I am going to sleep, I´m not thinking too clearly obviously...

Today's cosplay-sewing failures have taught me one thing: if I ever again get it in my head to attempt making anything out of pleather the whole forum is cordially invited to kick me in the teeth. It will be for my own good.  >:(

oh yes, caring about how to feed ducks is so pretty german. Though the question is not how, but "if" at least around here people like it as much as feeding doves.

I DON'T EVEN KNOW. Technically I was well aware that my choices might not be the best ones but I... but I... oh well, let's just say I'm now regretting everything.  :'(
