Thanks you two. Fortunately this doesn't appear to be nearly as bad as we were worried it would be considering its magnitude and the potential for tsunamis. Auleliel all but slept through the quake and Asterales is no longer in Japan, so I think that's all of us okay unless there's someone I'm forgetting about?

Another chapter in my illustrious history of breaking chairs. Some of you may remember the great Rocking Chair fiasco of '16 this summer, when the bottom fell out of a huge rocking chair and left me stuck in the middle, screaming for help into a house that only contained my half-deaf veteran Grandad. I survived, narrowly.

None of you will remember the time I sat in a seat at the cinema and promptly fell through the bottom of that one too because a tall friend hoisted me out immediately, so I did not deem it post-worthy.
I have one of those spinny office chairs for my desk. Last night I sat down and the whole thing crunched alarmingly. I am now sitting at a dramatic slant because one side is broken and trying to fall off while the other remains even.

What do you guys think? Is my butt a chair-jinx or am I just having bad luck?
