Today we have a very special promotion! Our beloved elder, Forum grandma and great grandma, @Róisín has reached the staggering number of 7500 posts! To honor her long and wide service for our community, she will henceforth be known as an Elder of the Ruined Realm!



The Forum staff team decided to create this new category especially for this occasion*. Previously the next promotion would have been at 10 000 posts, but we felt that 7500 is worth its own recognition.

Please accept out thanks, hugs and cakes, dearest Róisín!

* for anyone who reaches this threshold, obviously. Although it's not looking very likely many will.

Oh wow! That took me totally by surprise! And thank you all for being so interesting to talk to that I have reached such a landmark. This amazing community has become a part of my life in ways that I could never have imagined. I shall endeavour to be a good Elder, and thank you all again!

Okay, I shall define my realm as being the Barossa area of South Australia and also the State of Victoria just east of SA, my reasoning being that I live in the Barossa/Adelaide Hills region and that most of my surviving kin and friends are in Victoria. I am of course perfectly willing to share if I overlap a place claimed by someone else!

And anent Victoria, congratulations and cake to Yastreb who has recently attained the rank of Ranger!
