Bubbles Made Larger, Make An Easier Departure...

The Finn grabs a hold
Of the released air exhaled.
To bubble remoulded,
Of a superior scale.

The voice taunts, "Don't bother."
It says, "Let yourself drown."
The boa constricts and smothers,
Breaking the bubble that surrounds.

It would be easier and faster,
The creature for him concludes.
Stripping away, the caster,
Of his mental fortitude.
A man left his Icelandic home
Escaped to Denmark to freely roam
With hair braided red
He got hit on the head
With a crate lid slammed onto his dome

Pinning Sorcerer, Grinning Torturer

Lalli's body restricted
By the dark snake's coiling.
The serpent predicts that
He'll tire from the toiling.

The tightened constrictor,
Watching, smiling as it toys.
Constant pain inflicting
With a sadist's maw of joy.

Gritting teeth to bear it,
But the pain induces tears.
This calamity desperate
And no aid for him down here.
A man left his Icelandic home
Escaped to Denmark to freely roam
With hair braided red
He got hit on the head
With a crate lid slammed onto his dome

Lalli's Not Waking, Before They Break In

It worked, Lalli did it!
Emil's mind is clear again.
But his body's lacking spirit.
He didn't make it back, friend.

His mind is now jumbled.
What is Emil meant to do?
With the impending rumble,
Smash and bangs, and they're through.

Now the scouter's slight arms,
In the Swede's hefty clutches,
Trying to escape from harm,
Before fatal repercussions.

Prepare Swear Jar.  Jävlar.

The Swedish man with no delay,
Into the hall, for they cannot stay.
Bolting the door of the WC.
Squats on the throne, watching Lalli.

Companion lain prone, upon the rug,
Trying this refuge from beastly pill bugs.
The Swede's hands together as if in prayer,
Trapped together there, scout cat and the Hair.

Pinning all hopes on barrier of wood,
That impacts and attacks will all be withstood.
Weapon ready, but will bullets get him far?
Muttering only a single word: "Jävlar."

First One In Gets It Good! First One In Gets The Food?

The creatures succeed
In breaching the glass.
For food to feed,
They shuffle en masse.

Though their faces bleed,
They continue their trespass.
Emil, you just need
To stop talking, you ass.

The first one to get through
Gets its face blasted off!
Misconstrued his threats to
Be invitations, the mass-ed blobs.

Though his words carry threat,
Through selective hearing,
They are bolstered better yet,
Far from cowering or fearing.

Push Window Open, There Is No Hoping

Through the window up high,
After pushing it ajar.
No escape identified,
For surrounded they are.

He recoils in horror,
From watching above them.
Shaken to the core,
From the sheer number of them.

As they come pouring in,
Could he then make it out?
Or just maybe the Finn,
If the Swede is too stout...

Will Be Oxygen Deprived, Emil Could Have Gotten Away Alive

The coils tightly winding,
Ever tighter and tighter.
They'll forever be binding
The solo magic fighter.

Resigned to his lot,
As last air bubbles pour.
Time for final thoughts,
He can't do anything more.

"Stupid Emil." he laments,
Should have left him behind.
His own death he could prevent,
"...Stupid, stupid..." the scout opined.

Barely Alive, Swan's Dive

What he sees in the sky
Is a swan's silhouette.
For the man ready to die,
It's a sight to forget.

All but resigned,
His fate almost set.
The owl has other designs,
Swooping, ready to get wet.

A majestic plunging dive,
In the water like a jet.
Lalli barely alive, but
There is hope for him yet.

Punch In The Eye, Clutch And Then Fly

A presence nearby,
A gigantic gaze locked.
He pierces the red eye,
With an almighty sock.

Scarlet eye bleeds,
Forth fluid gushes.
Kinsman thus freed,
Escaping his trusses.

Ocular ablater,
Tear at speed from that being.
Altering his nature,
The giant owl carrying.

Magic light radiating,
To the sky, lifting, flashing.
Larger form aviating,
Away from serpent's thrashing.

Escaped to Denmark to freely roam

Why Out Here? Stupid Endears.

"Why are you out here?!
You stupid...stupid, stupid..."
The elder Finnish seer,
Berates the poor kid.

Out across the expanse,
To ground they traverse.
Lalli heavily lands,
He face-plants head-first.

Don't Know. Have To Go.

The owl man lands thus,
"Lalli!" he clasps.
There is much to discuss,
"Where are you?" he asks.

Shoulders in tight grip,
"I don't really know."
His hands forced to slip,
Lalli says "I have to go."

Question Interrupt, Disappearing Abrupt

His friend in a bad place,
If they'll be back, he doesn't know.
To return at utmost pace,
Getting back to his bro...

Onni tries to ask "why-?"
He is left in the dust.
Lalli left him high and dry,
As he vanished abrupt.

Pg 953

Arms And Legs Stretch, Ready To Retch

Lalli rouses at last,
He wobbbles to his feet.
The steadiness doesn't last,
His rehabilitation incomplete.

Emil's words are bleak.
To see him one last time, he's glad.
But before Lalli can speak, he
Keels over and retches just a tad.

Nowhere To Go, Give It Up, Yo

Back in the land of living,
It's great. It's nice.
The bad news he's giving,
He sees their demise.

Emil tried his best, mate,
But they're cornered a bit.
He accepted his fate,
Lalli should also do it.

As the scout looks out to see,
Emil says he already tried.
But what could this be?
What has the feline scout spied?

Glancing, the cat in alertness,
To the window out there.
The pair peering out wordless,
As they both look and stare...

Soon They'll Get Through, Leg It, You Two

The creatures all entering
Are leaving free the outer walls.
The perimeter surrendering,
Exit but mind your footfalls.

Without mishap, the cat lands,
On his two feet as he might.
He out stretches his hands,
But then retracts them despite.

A hard fall the Swede suffers,
In a THWOMP onto his back.
What will happen when they discover
That of food there's a lack...?

Making haste, the men fly.
Cross country, the pair bolting.
They'll be chased soon again by
The mass of beasties revolting.

Running Until Late? Not In That State

Emil asks if the plan
Is to run through the dark.
But the cat scouter man
Responds with question mark?

The cleanser isn't able to
Be continuously fleeing.
It seems unsustainable too
For Lalli, the state he's in.

Needs to recover completely,
Before he can run far.
Now he's sprawling weakly,
Dizzy spells hitting hard.

The dusklings smash through,
The weak door conquering.
Not a sign of the food,
As they all wander in.

The Pair Are Viewed, Rally To Food!

The horde shuffle through
The open doorway and spy
The fleet of food two,
One gives a loud cry.

Round the corner it blares
A piercing "SCREEEEEEEEE"
At the back of the pair
As they quickly flee.

The cluster has rallied,
Their awareness drawn,
There's no time to dally,
As the chase is now on!

Bombs Armed And Locked, Explosive Alarm Clock

Lalli takes the lead,
To a building scrapped.
Two explosives he needs,
Snags them from Emil's strap.

Into the doorway chucked,
The activated grenades.
Emil remains dumbstruck,
No sense can be made.

His arm the scout pulls,
To get away for their sakes.
For within lies a roomful
Of monster that'll wake.
