Self-Inserts and OCs

OK so I spent the last waking hours of my life looking through this entire thread and when I first started off I thought: "Looks fun, but I won't join. I'll stick to lurking"

But now

Oh man you guys have done it!

My fingers are itching, I tell you - ITCHING! However I can't draw for the life of me, and right now I have Unneglectable  Responsibilities (workkk) so I won't post anything right now.

Also I'm debating wether I should make my self-insert Norwegian or Icelandic. Because my name works in Icelandic and are SO MUCH COOLER than in Norwegian. However I'M NOT SURE IF I SHOULD LIE A LOT OR JUST A LITTLE!

Also, can I be mechanic with uncontrollable mood swings and silver colored hair who hums and whistles unrecognizable songs while happy and mumbles non-understandable words when grumpy? (Lol that was about 3/4 of my character idea. I made her only to describe her with those exach words..)

Pfff, I can't draw either.  I just came up with a persona and kind souls pictured me (making me much cuter than IRL).  So don't let a lack of art ability stop you.

A mechanic sounds like a useful person to have around, and Icelanders seem to be dominant by numbers in the Known World.  I think it would be very entertaining to have bits of that fine old traditional ballad Waterloo lilting out from under the truck as you're inspecting the drive train.

@Aquaaquarion: If I ever finish the dossier page (color it to my liking) I'll crop out the page from the background and offer that up as an update to replace the text bit on my page in the infodump since I've changed Strelokov's profile a bit since I initially posted it.

Yeah, I gathered you might need one whole mechanic since you, as far as I've seen, only have a bunch of halves (that sounds terrible) - I also noticed all the cleansers seem to be a little too excited about explosives/other stuff and the thought was to make a girlman (girl/woman, though I see the combination doesn't work like I wanted it to) who just mumbles and hisses at everyone when they break her beloved machines and when she's finished she'll always go: "THIS KS THE LAST TIME I'M CLEANING UP YOUR MESS!" but everyone knows that's a lie she loves working on those machines she's just keeping up appearances


Also Sunflower - now her main theme will be Waterloo. That will be her favourite unrecognizable song to hum and whistle AND THERE IS NOTHING ANYONE CAN DO TO STOP IT BWAHAHAHA

It's been about two weeks, but I finally got to finishing Noodly Appendage's art trade! Behold, her Icelandic mage Sonja!



I'm still taking a stab at the watercolor style, and I think that this attempt is more successful than the first, yay!

<sub>P.S. Okay so far I'm going through the art trades at a rate of one piece per week, which is unacceptable in my books. But hopefully this will change! Tomorrow I will (probably) have the whole day to work on Fimbulvarg's, then maybe Piney's trade. Fingers crossed!

P.P.S. John Candlebury and Mad Robin, since you guys drew my character and went through the efforts to color and ink, do you want to formally make it an art trade? :)</sub>

A troll puncher is a dangerous implement (at least that's what they tell the Diciplinary Officer when he points out that they forgot to bring a weapon to patrol duty).

Needless to say, but this is just outstandlingly amazing! The effects are just perfectly balanced against the centerpiece and the background.
