Nice tie-in with the 'historical' banshee (as their shriieks would often foretell one's death.)

Moredhel, it’s great (albeit a bit scary)!

And I think this is exactly the right board for it. If you intend to make mor, or if others get inspired, ther could be an “introduce your own grossling”* thread, but this one works well too.

*Pettroll, maybe?

Now obviously we can tell I am not as talented as the others that have posted here.  So with a little bit of embarrassment.  Jitter I bring you a two headed pettroll

-Pettroll Field notes-
First discovered by the Scavenger Guild in the year 15, Pettrolls are as dangerous as any other grossling.
Their heads spit fuel and their flinty teeth will cause sparks. Their fiery breath weapon can reach up to 20 meters.
They are not very mobile being found inside old petroleum stations/tanks. Though they have been known to break free and will move with astounding agility once free.
Some varieties have also been found in old world homes and businesses that utilized fuel as their heating source.
Reports show creatures will have one or two heads, and if severed cleanly in one stroke their bodies contain unspoiled petroleum.
This can be harvested with proper siphoning devices.
Once the heads have been breached the contents will start to become unusable as the Pettrolls will start to dissolve once killed.
The contents of pettrolls are very valuable and the Scavenger Guild has specialized teams with the ability to kill and harvest such creatures.
The work can be dangerous as one their necks are very hard and harvesting them can draw other beasts and grosslings to the area.

Any person interested in this work, can ask from any guild member or at the guild shoppes.

-----
One of the heads have been severed by a scavenger.  Dripping precious fuel
(Have to figure out how to make it smaller.  Plus I feel a story in the making... I am off today hmmmm)

Fate gives all of us three teachers, three friends, three enemies, and three great loves in our lives. But these twelve are always disguised, and we never know which one is which until we've loved them, left them, or fought them.

Dmeck, that is great! The coloring is spot on! Why don’t you add some written description too, for posterity who may not have read the fic you presented them? I love the concept!

Thank you all.  You all are really really kind

Colors are my thing (art-work ---meh)

I love seeing drawings from everyone.  The most recents gave me a bit of ooooh and ahhh.

I will add a brief description to the drawing.

Well, it's been some time since my last visit... Most things keep going to the prompt of the week... which is good. :)

Anyway, I really like the pettroll. It's weird and interesting at the same time! Well done, dmeck and Jitter!

So, today I was feeling like "I need to do a bit of Lalli art", and ended up with this...

I went on drawing and painting and it came up as a "leveled up" version of Lalli... As if there was some secret Order of Mages that he might join to boost his abilities.
And the sword, you may ask? Well, I happen to like katanas... ;)

A wonderful and intriguing Lalli with definite oriental touches!

Grey, you know what this means - you must tell the story too! 😄

That's a great Lalli! And he's definitely leveled up: he can maintain a smile!
I am glad to see that he kept the boots...

Thank you very much!  ^-^ I really like to draw legs, and believe myself able to do some decent ones. I'd love to say the same about hands, though...

Thanks, my dear! Yes, I can see some oriental inspiration there, and not only in the sword. However it wasn't the intention, so perhaps my subconscious is to blame...
And now I must create a story!!! What have I done!?  ;D
Well, I'll try to come up with something that isn't the first piece of yet another multi-chapter series or full-size novel... If I can. ;)
That's a great Lalli! And he's definitely leveled up: he can maintain a smile!
I am glad to see that he kept the boots...
Thank you! Maybe he's feeling more confident now with his improved abilities? Or it's just the approving look that he's seeing in Emil's eyes?  :lalli: :emil:
And yes, he had to keep the boots - any boots - because Emil thinks he looks terrific with them... ;)
Grey,
I love that Lalli.
I'm very glad to know that, my friend! And I loved drawing and sharing it!  <3

Ok, I have the story ready... in my head! The Beginning, the End and a lot of what goes in between!  ^-^

Now I "just" have to write it down...

Lalli looks to me like a fisherman in storm gear with a sword for pirate effect.
