Thanks, haha. It really didn't help that the paper was copy paper size, so I had to not only draw six people and a baby, but draw six people and a baby really small...

I love Rey's costume/character design so much that I'm pretty sure it's almost the entire reason I'm hyped for the movie only need to wait til next weeeeek. That is an excellent Rey.

Piney: I can still see your style somewhere in between the lines, but I like the way you changed it too! They look very pretty... Are they Marshmallow's family?

shaeira: Well, congratulations, because that's very scary indeed. Wow. o__o

Haiz: *UNINTELLIGIBLE NOISES* I know I already yelled a lot about this on tumblr, but AAAAAAAAAAAAAA

They're a family I made up just for the class, actually! He doesn't have a family Although funny thing you said that, because I did base their appearances off of characters I already had. (with the exception of the grandparents... and the baby of course)

That may have been a tiny exaggeration on my part. Very tiny. Maybe.

I confess I haven't been on here, but I saw Adri Thell's low poly stuff, and that horse sculpt...
General admiration for everyone's art by the way, I am not much of an illustrator but it's cool to see all these great styles.
I thought I should jump in, now I'm pushing verts more often.
Using the Hard Ops addon for Blender, I've started trying to push myself into learning hard surface modeling.

Both rendered in cycles, and I didn't do the shading myself, but borrowed some other materials.
Thoughts?

Oooh, nice! The surfaces and structures look really realistic, especially on the top one.

Its that same masked mage. Changed a bit of small details,  but otherwise its pretty much the same design from the first time.

Dunno if the mask is any better, it looks a bit robot-ish.

It still got a lot of things that needed fixin', but I'm tired of looking at it so there it is.

---

Oh, also, those plants are real neat.
Sorry if I'm dreding past what is acceptable, but this one caught my eye. I have dabbled with some similar masked mages, and I love your design. To de robot it, maybe lose the chin triangle and make it fabric instead? a long drapy scarf thing?

So I fell in love with finished playing through Transistor...

Oooh! Yes! Transistor! Aaah, this is so pretty and it makes me happy. I like the digitizing effect you've got on Red's coat.
