There's no shame in that!
Most of the work I do is something someone already did prior to my arrival. That concept is a jungle rainforest in Brazil that I painted based on an image I found on GIS. The F-16C is obviously owned by General Dynamics.
The quality of the work is more important than the originality of it, I think. Otherwise webcomics like this would be dismissed as Yet Another Post-Apocalypse Scenario.

UE4 uses Physically-Based Rendering (PBR) which vastly improves the way game art looks. PBR emulates the way light actually works, so it's easier for good artists to produce photorealistic results. It's simply a beautiful art form.
