(Quite likely, Hawaii is famous for its particularly low-viscosity low-gas-content lava, both conducive to having a smooth lava flow (forming shield volcanoes, too) and people daring to go near it to take a photo. ;) )

And also it looks like it’s flowing into a large body of water, so presumably the ocean, and therefore can’t be from the recent “tourist eruptions” in Iceland :)

My friends dared a helicopter ride to be able to go see lava flowing into the ocean a few years back in Hawaii 

Seeing lava with my own eyes is on my bucket list!

I recently started making this Lalli out of clay. I finished painting him yesterday. I only need to prime and paint his rifle

Please post more when finished! As it’s Lalli, he should go to the SSSS art museum thread, this ine is mainly for non-SSSS things. Not that it’s that serious, but people are more likely to see (and appreciate!) him in the right thread :)

I love this Lalli!  As for sharing images from Tumblr, I can't do it from the mobile app, but I can from desktop. Click onto the pic to isolate it, then right-click and select 'copy image link'.  Use the Mona Lisa button above to insert the bbcode [img ] and [ / img] code around the link address and you're away!  (Or, type those bracket code directly around the link, without the spaces.)
