That bird is so cool, Antillanka!
In my art class, really made thematic mandalas and I did mine based on Norse mythology

Wow, Antillanka, just wow. Great work on the colors. And the whole picture is very bewitching XoX

It's very painstaking work, PickleChip! and I feel like you have given me an idea for a new tattoo  :))

Antillanka, that is just amazing! I love the colours, especially on those flowers!

PickleChip: O_O THAT IS SO COOL Also, what do the runes around the circle mean? (And those Galdrastafir in the middle are... Courage in battle and Runic compass?) Anyway, overall great work!

Thanks! When I showed my mom, she said I should be a tattoo artist.  :)

Thanks! The runes don't really mean anything, I did this in class and we aren't supposed to have our phones out really, so they are just what I can remember of the top of my head (so glad I have a good memory! I wouldn't have finished in time if not!) (also, most of them are combos of each other ;)  )
And in the middle, I have always heard it called a staves, not a Galdrastafir. But, yeah, runic compass and Courage in battle!

Antillanka, I love it!!! The colors are beautiful, and from someone who spent like three years solely drawing birds, the feathers are amazing.

PickleChip, woah woah woah wait. You drew all of that from memory?! I drew like five runes in a row once and screwed them up! XD  Really cool!

Antillanka, that's a stunning falcon, and so lovely flowers. Delicate honeysuckle, and how you managed to convey that feel of fluffy hydrangeas is impressive. I love it!
Picklechip, cool mandala! I like how you show different textures with crosshatching and dots,  and the overall composition is great, too!

Picklechip, that is so intricate and balanced! Midgard Serpent, right? Is the little drawing down in the corner near the moon your signature? And your mom is right, it would make an excellent tattoo design. (One of my sons paid his way through art school by doing tattoo designs and playing in a band. His tattoo designs were the same sort of detailed line drawings in which you discover more and more detail the longer you look at it.)

I haven't been able to stop by here because it's finals season & I've just been focusing a lot on my webcomic, but here are a couple illustrations I've done in the past few weeks that I never shared! :)
