dang lots of art, it all looks beautiful (and animation! that looks super cool Ana)

I have a couple design sketches that I've been putting up on tumblr over the last bit that I haven't put up here, so here's some planning:

(Cal got a few color tests too, since I wasn't totally sold on the black for him. What do you guys think?)

Jureeya: XoX Those characters look awesome! And the weaponry looks really cool too! As for the colours (yes with a U I'm canadian :P) on the second character I kinda like the green?

I'm gonna agree on green being the good colour here. Matches very well with the colour of the character's hair. Sorry if you've already explained this, but are these pretty folks from a comic you're working on?

Jureeya, those are gorgeous. Great linework and extremely attractive people and these stir my art jealousy so bad. I prefer the marroon on Cal.

Great works by everyone, as usual.
Jureeya, I'm joining the green camp.

Unfortunately most participants interest in the summer artist improvement challenge evaporated on the way, but it was an excellent idea and a great opportunity for practice. These are my last painting for it:

*_* Ahhh Helia, these are lovely! Even if they're meant as practice, they still look really nice - the rain one, especially.

Thank you <3 And yes! They're from a comic I'm planning now. I'm just doing designs and non-plot pages now to plan things out and see where im at artistically. I actually did another test page just....last night? yesterday?? Anyone that came to stream knows that I stayed up all night drawing this for nO good reason because I spent like five hours trying to fix Cal's face.

The other page I drew is here: http://jureeya.tumblr.com/post/146926044468/lines-lines-lines-process

Tr, Luth, John, Jureeya, thank you for the compliments! I love animating stuff, but it's hard and takes a long time.

And as for all the new art here since I last checked:

Keeper: I really like how saturated the color of the hands are, it makes it look sort of whimsical!
John: sleazy merchant guy definitely looks sleazy! I think it's his expression that does the trick.
Piney: that's super cute, and the lighting looks quite nice. Did they fall asleep next to a fire?
Jureeya: wow, lots of cool stuff! If you want my two cents, I prefer the green as well, but I think both could work. Though I really like the plain black as well...
Helia: beautiful watercolors! It all looks so serene  ^-^
:usa: Yes.
:spain: Out of practice.
:finland: Failed to learn.
:vaticancity: Probably remember five words.

I drew some things from Ava's Demon. I really love the art style of the comic!

Wow, nice Jureeya! Very clean lines and interesting character designs!

That animation is pretty adorable Ana!

I didnt like the idea of letting the weekend pass by without drawing something.

So I drew a pair of faces, favorite is the middle one:

John, you should share any kind of art you wish to!
It cheers me up and encourages me to see people doing art, whether visual, musical, written, or anything else.
