My sister happened to be looking at my phone while I was checking out this gif. I knew what was coming, but she didn't. After about 3 seconds, she began to say "what's the point of this...", and then his eyes moved. She legit jerked back is surprise! Of course I was snickering as I told her the context.

So job well done!

There's a reason Ása starts yelling in his direction with a bullhorn, but she catches on in time that she's about to disclose her nefarious plans to the expedition and screams out a badly-thought-out cover story instead.

(I mean, serious, why would she try to threaten Trond towards some random strangers? She failed to even switch to a more understandable language for that, and instead continued in the Icelandic that would've been appropriate to talk to that harpoonist!)

And of course that neatly explains why, when approaching the victims-to-be, the ship's name on the sail seems to have been changed ... it's an cover-up to carry out their murderous intents under, in case some witnesses survive!
