I think a child board would be a good idea at this point.  Perhaps one containing all creative projects?  That way there could still be a substantial amount of content in the board.  On the other hand, keeping it just for SSSSona stuff would keep the content simple and easy to navigate.  Anyone want to weigh in?

Of course, you could make two child-boards if you felt like it. More specific categorising makes for easier navigation, but equally we don't want to split everything up too much as it actually gets counter-intuitive. A 'creative projects' (or synonym) board seems like a good idea to me.

The only problem I can see with that is that there currently are two kinds of "creative projects" threads popping up - ones related to SSSS and ones that are not related. Would we move them both onto the same board? Keep them separate?

I do agree though that we don't want to sub-divide TOO finely.

I'd prefer one for just SSSSona stuff. If it was just one board for all "creative projects" it would just get oversaturated with the SSSSona stuff. And I don't think we have enough "creative project" threads that we'd need a new board for them. Two child-boards sounds a bit excessive, honestly.

I second this. The self-insert trend has grown into something huge and could use the space, and maybe an attempt at organization so it's easier for newbies to get into it... and seeing as it's not exactly comic canon, it would make sense. but there are not enough non-sona 'creative projects' to warrant it its own board, in my opinion.

edit: I also volunteer to write an infopost/masterpost for the board if it happens? since I've been on board with the self-inserts since their humble beginnings and know what's going on

So, due to the HUGE popularity of the self-inserts, I'd like to propose making a sub-board in the main SSSS board for just that entire thing. I counted and just on the first two pages alone there are 9 threads about self-inserts - this is totally fine, but maybe it's time to give them their own space? That way people who are not involved in the various projects around it can avoid it easily, and those that are, can find it easily.

Thoughts?

I support a common creative content board. I suggest we put it to a poll to get things decided.

It is noticeably redder!
I wasn't sure if it was just my new monitor or what, but I'm glad I was actually right.

Suddenly the format of everything is extremely wonky on my phone, and I can't find the button I use most often (new replies). All the text in the threads is too small to read, and the table for the thread titles is all squished to the left side. The red reply button is mildly distracting but not overwhelmingly so. On a positive note, the buttons for smileys, italics, etc. for writing a post are now big enough, even though they were too small in the past.

Just one for SSSSonas sounds more logical to me. A significant amount of threads in the SSSS Board are at least in part creative stuff, like, more than half of the threads on the first page. Creating a sub-board for all this would be too broad in my opinion.
Also, threads around creative stuff tend to update more and more frequently, because people keep posting new things they've made. If we sent all those to a sub-board, users would have to go to there after going to the SSSS Board all the time, because that's where stuff happens. One more navigation click without much benefit.

tl;dr: Sub-board for Self-Insert stuff.

This is something that was apparent in the last few day on my tablet computer: the forum looks greyed out and the script is really tiny so that I am zooming in every time I want to read something. Does this have to do with the mobile version or is this something else?

People seem to be in favor of a SSSSona Child Board, so we'll go with that.
I'll go ahead and make the board, if someone can move all the SSSSona threads into it.
