Hmmm. It's an interesting question! Well, it makes sense that I would be in the military, since that's my current occupation: Military maintainer. So perhaps a Dane working on fixing the cattanks I'm sure you all love to wreck.

Hello,

since you already shared your current work place with us, it would be nice if you could introduce yourself:

I would probably be a historian/skald of some sort, closeted in some old library in Mora with books and gramphones. I would come up with a grand theory of what life was like before Year 0 that would turn out to be totally wrong, but it would be accepted for a while and I'd get rich and famous.

I want to be a scientist-scout!  I would scout around finding interesting natural specimens and human artifacts and bring them back for the other scientist people to see!  I would also be a sharpshooter and have an elusive cat named 'Schrodinger'.  C:

In Y90?  I'd be long dead of the Illness, since I live near New York ;)

With my current temperment, I'd probably be a skald of some sort.  I'd be crap in the military and miss too many fine details to be a scout.
Keep an eye on me. I shimmer on horizons.

If we are being completely honest here, I'd likely either be dead or a peasant, maybe a skald. But it would be really cool if I were a scout. Totally not likely to happen with how I currently am, but a girl can dream.

I would love to be a scout, but I'd probably end up being a farmer somewhere. Being a scout would still be plausible, but I would need a lot of training first. ;)

I'd probably be dead, but if I were lucky enough, I expect I'd be a cat trainer at a cat school.

My dog - although I don't know whether she'd be incarnated as a dog, cat, or human - would undoubtedly have some kind of scouting profession. She's got a far more interesting personality than I do for SSSS-world.

I'd be working with history/old literature, most definitely. I'd be pretty passionate about histories from the old world, either thru formal research or being a teacher. I'd also still be half-asian so research into what could've happened to the other parts of the world/preserving my and other poc culture haha.

Well, in order for my family to survive I'm going to assume we randomly went on a holiday to Scandinavia at exactly the right time. :P

But anyway, I probably wouldn't have a specific job, since I'm still just a student. Though I'd probably like to become a medic, or something like that. Either that or a teacher, since those are things I'm considering as jobs in real life.

I have to admit that the first thing that came to mind when I saw what this thread was about was:

*stab and hack at trolls* "I just want one day, one freaking day, when getting to the dig site isn't such a pain." *more stabbing and hacking and use of whip* "I JUST WANT TO DIG UP VIKINGS IS IT TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR SOME PEACE???"
I'm a passionate archaeology student :'D

Realistically, I'd be a skald/scientist working in a chemistry/analytics lab (not a biology type though, probably something along the lines of battery tech) in Sweden though I wouldn't mind being a finnish type mage if I go live with my significant other <3

What would I be in Year 90?

Would like to be something impressive like a scout or Cleanser, medic or scientist ...but then I look at myself, sigh and shake my head...

Something relatively mundane...Radio repairman? Maintenance man? Telephone Linesman?
A watchman, manning one of the towers like those on the walls around Mora?

Nah, probably just a peasant... :P

I'd be on a Saimaa island with the descendants of other estonians, living in a village. I'd imagine myself as this healer-woman who's got some finnish magical talent but not enough to be considered a mage. And she paints on her free time, mainly plant patterns on the wood logs of her cabin.
Because irl I'm estonian at nationality, I study art and I think that in a Post-Rash environment I'd probably put to use all the herbal medicine stuff my mother has tried to teach me. :D
And because wisewomen are cool.

I'd probably be in Sweden, since I have primarily Swedish heritage and family over there. I'd definitely want to be a cleanser!  Facing danger and blasting fire all everywhere for reasons that aren't illegal would be great! But, knowing me and my cowardly behind, I'd likely end up just being a skald or something even lesser, heh.
I survived the :chap11: break!!

If I were alive in Y90 (which is a big "if", seeing as I've never been to anywhere in the Known World), I'd probably either be a skald or some sort of scholar working on the Illness. Dunno where I'd end up, but Iceland seems likely, just because I'd be Onni-level terrified of going anywhere dangerous. :P

Moe !!

Firstly, i like to think "dead", but maybe a gardener? People like to keep those people alive, whom produce food. :)

No...no, i cannot lie. Truth is out there, dancing in before me naked. Dammit, i would be a looter. Please, plenty of old buildings, with stuff inside of them. Nothing would keep me away. Trolls or no trolls, ghosts, monsters or whatnot things that go bumb in the night, i would be there looting, with my cat (because she too likes to roam around old buildings). Loot, loot, loot...
Where ever i go, cats look upon me. They know everything.
