SSSS CROSSOVER TIME!

I should probably just do a little digging for this answer, but has anyone suggested Fallen London?

Admittedly, there would need to be some divergence from the main series, what with Sunless Skies, but it would be interesting for someone in the Nordic Council to trade off a city with the Masters of the Bazaar, turning one of the last civilized cities to the 6th or 7th city to house the Bazaar.

That fic has been long neglected, I should write some more on it eventually! As for storyline purposes, I wrote it as more of a "ssss characters in that universe", rather than a proper crossover. I really like your idea about the Nordic Council selling a city to the Masters!

So, a comment on page 695 about "bigger fish" got me thinking...

...If SSSS were an RPG being played by the Darths and Droids crew, who would take which role?

My take:

SIGRUN, played by Jim
MIKKEL, played by Ben
TUURI, played by Sally
LALLI, played by Pete
EMIL, played by Annie
and
REYNIR, played by Corey

...and isn't it just scary how well they all fit!

Any other thoughts?

In my opinion: Lalli's the min-max'ed one, and Emil is canonically too nice to be Pete.

Maybe you could switch Pete and Sally; the Finns both seem min-max'ed on further reflection.

A welcome to night vale AU! Including:
Emil as Carlos the scientist who is a visitor in town
Lalli as Cecil, the shy radio host (romance follows!)

And some other hilarious ones:
Now I'm imagining Sigrun as the Indian tracker and Mikkel as the guy who runs the bowling alley and arcade fun complex

Anyway this would probably not actually work but honestly just the cuteness of imagining Emil and Lalli as Cecil and Carlos!

Necro-ing this thread, which is appropriate.

Has anyone done a crossover between SSSS and Lovecraft?  The idea kind of came when posted the couplet to the Skype chat:

And with strange aeons even death may die.

That strikes me as somewhat apropos.  Many of Lovecraft's shambling horrors could be explained as trolls and giants in the univerSSSSe.
