Here we go!  Two larger-than-life characters, watching the edge of the Known World, going head-to-head to determine who advances.


Väinö Väänänen, Eyes of Gulls on the edge of Saimaa, with an interesting filing system to keep tabs on who has passed through.

OR


Admiral Olsen, at Öresundsbro Base on the edge of Denmark, who sometimes has to rely on his memory for who passed through.
