I tried to do the same, and pathetically failed. Means I'll just wait until Christmas and ask you for a present  :P

Sure, won't cost me much. Don't expect extreme quality though.

Hehehe... I was... Kidding? If you want to do it I won't surely complain, but it was supposed to be a joke...

I know, but I really wouldn't mind drawing something for you if you want it.

I'm going to write it out on paper because I think better that way. I'll count up each page as I finish it to save time. Only nine and a half hours until tomorrow!

One and a half for me. I write in word, simple and effective. I've written by hand before and I always cramp up.

I downloaded the free Scrivener trial off the NaNo website, and it looks promising. I've never used Scrivener, but I've sure seen its praises, and I thought I'd give it a go. Usually, though, I just write in Word.

I'll be writing in OpenOffice because that's what I'm used to from my masters thesis at the moment. (What a pity the pages I'm writing on that don't count for NaNoWriMo, too...  8) ) If you could give us feedback on how you like Scrivener, that would be nice - I haven't yet got the advantages of it.

Ditto that about Scrivener. I took a quick look at it (and one of my friends uses it), but other than that I'm not sure about it.

I'm going to be using a thing called Writemonkey because 1) it looks nice and clean 2) it handles things like backups and extra notes and merging files.

Ah, the joy of timezones. Got a couple more hours to go.

Or maybe I could pretend I'm in Europe. ;D

I had to google Scrivener. I think I'll just stick with handwriting. It might be helpful for editing later, though because my mom can't figure out how to get Word onto the laptop. In addition to thinking better on paper, I can take paper with me everywhere - which is ideal for the extra ten minutes at the end of a Chemistry quiz or something.

Seven and a half hours!

*Waves hand in a jedi-like fashion* You're iiiiiiinn!!

No seriously, though. You could try, not like you lose anything!

On other news, I've unfortunately started my first NaNo at 00:01, grrr. Well, doesn't matter. Apparently I can produce more or less 14 words in a minute - that means I could just write two hours every day and win NaNo in a month. I'm feeling really positive right now  ;D

You write faster than me apparently. By just a little.
