Shotgun, I appreciate your grace on the face of world events. I also strongly hope that no one here will reflect badly on you as a person that there is a Situation.

Ah, it's alright.
The reason why I wanted to do this in the first place is because I love eastern Europe, the history, the culture, the people, and the nations, I have found the region to be utterly fascinating for years now (Hell, fascination in the Soviet Union in particular is why I eventually became a socialist). Its the main reason why I wanted to write this.

The Long Road to Scandinavia will live, I'm just going to wait until after the war in Ukraine is over and the initial dust settles, gives me more time to write anyhow.

And to anyone who might be from Ukraine, or has family there, Slava Ukraini.

lwise, I strongly agree! Unfortunately this is not the way everyone sees it, here in Finland there have been unfortunate verbal attacks on private persons who are or are perceived to be Russian. One would think that the fact they are here and not on the front means that they are not the ones attacking, but... (not to imply that the troops have any say in the matter either).

Just a general update for anyone who cares.

Work on the prologue chapter is ongoing, having a problem of on-again off-again writers block, but it should be ready for publishing soon enough.
Also, I've updated the lore a little bit, as I've accidentally lifted a couple names from The New Order: Last Days of Europe, a popular HOI4 mod. As such the Unity Pakt is now the "Russian League" and the Grey Scare is now the "Brown Scare"
That's about it for now, hopefully the next message I post will be a link to the AO3 page.
