Maybe a prompt for next week?  Trolls point of view?  I have not thought about that, but a few of the fan fic's that were pointed my way (and Grey's) are quite fascinating

Oh! That was unexpected, and sweet!

And I totally agree about Mikkel’s pockets. He has some sort of hammerspace device on him. Just look at the size of his backpack all through A2, and compare and contrast with the amount of stuff they have.

Maybe candle soup taught him to always, always carry rations, and once you are at it, you can take a few other useful things.

He totally could have one too! He recently came to money, and probably spent some on a fine container in Snærri Sluggissons Household Emporium (help for any housekeeping needs! Academy approved!) in Reykjavik.

Oh! For the longest time i thought they were going to meet a living relative of Mayday's! I guess they still can, in a future prompt?

Also I am sure that Mikkel always has something to read.


BTW, I sat down to think about family for the prompt, and got inspired to write something that doesn't actually fit it at all. Should I link it here anyway?

Like I said, it does revolve around the concept of family, but not long-lost relatives. Maybe I should have just continued my story about Mikkel being Emil's real father...

Oh the dorks! I don’t think thr Swan would be so easily thwarted, though!

But alas, there is a flaw in the plan (one that Sig and Mik might well fail to consider): Reynir doesn’t have a family name.

This flaw has been pointed out to me on the Discord, and I have a very good answer: we know that, but the Swan doesn't.

The real flaw is, of course, that the Swan almost certainly meant ties of blood, not random names assigned in a dodgy wedding ceremony conducted by a heathen Norwegian. But she's also not adverse to bending the rules, so maybe she would let them go out of amusement? Just to see how all these marriages work out? Especially Tuuri's: having a Finnish ghost-bird for a daughter-in-law might be a tough sell for Reynir's parents.
Actually, that could be quite the sitcom!
