I didn't heve time to read the stories... This weekend was really a busy one! :(

But I managed to complete one more for the leveling up series! And I believe you won't mind me skipping, for now, the beard/braid prompt...



We even have a guest character! Did you spot it?

I for one love to see her pretty alive, flying over what could be Finland with a happy face! (that came from as early as page 72 on adv.1)

And here's the beautiful original art!

You will notice that I changed the original body proportions, trying to get a bit closer to Tuuri. (Not all female superheroes need to be 1.80m tall with a 90-60-90 body, right?) ;)

My first reaction was "oops, that's tricky" but I posted it as I had decided. But since yesterday I have thought of at least five suitable "labyrinths". We'll see if I can get any of them actually into a story.

Yes, Jitter, the Labyrinth also sparked several possibilities in my mind...

But not that one, Tehta, because, you know, for me Sigrun and Mikkel are inseparable... Unless Onni is trying to help, guiding Sigrun because her fertility (or Mikkel's) isn't working... To see Sigrun asking for magical help could be fun. :)

And yes, it warms my heart to see Tuuri that happy!  :sparkle: :tuuri: :sparkle:

Anyway, I hope you don't mind Jitter, because I do have everything ready to make a Bat-Onni, but then...

Someone else showed up, claiming he is the one that hunts monsters in the forest, using weapons and magic, and I couldn't say no...

 


(can you say no to The Witcher? Not an easy task...)

And here's the original art (I believe it's from the game The Witcher III - Wild Hunt)

Also this was the trickiest one, because the image has a realistic style... So I had to make a realistic Onni, with lips and all that. But the nose was the hardest part.  O_O

I hope you like it!

I put Tuuri together so he doesn't feel alone. And she can always sing "Toss a Coin to Your Witcher"  ;D

(Oh, and he has a beard!!! So this can also be my answer to the previous prompt!!!  ^-^ )

EDIT : Replaced the image, but no one would have noticed, because it's all a matter of details... :)

He used to be. Then he started training for his trademark voice, which got him both thrown out (do you have an idea how painful someone with a loud voice is to be in the same tunnel with!?) and pumped up to the point where he doesn't look the part anymore.

Oh wow, Onni as the Witcher does work very well! The monster-fighting, the manly angst, the silver hair... I bet that in that last ssss scene he was teaching Emil how to play Gwent. (To non-players: Gwent is a minigame card game in Witcher 3, which was insanely addictive and popular and how has its own spinoffs.)
Also, with Tuuri spoken for, Lalli can be Ciri! (And Reynir... Triss?)

Okay then! I do finally have an entry for, er, leveling up? Or growth? Whatever the prompt was. I hope it counts: I would say that Emil definitely levels up in it.

Since this is the third story I have written about Emil's scout training, and I am working on a fourth, I have decided to give them their own fic on AO3. Here is the second, new chapter. (The first one is the one that ended with Sigrun suggesting that Emil train himself of his habit of tripping on things by carrying unstable explosives. This one shows the inevitable consequences of the idea.)

And yes, more team vignettes... I will write something different as soon as I stop having so many ideas for these, sigh.

I'm happy that you liked Onni! I really think it fits well!

And Tehta, now I'll have to go check my steam account and give that game a try.

So, on year 92 Kitty went for a walk in the wild. Soon something amazing happened.

All over the world trolls and beasts vanished into thin air, which let people very confused.

They got even more confused when vast swaths of land became covered with small, shiny cans...




Luckly humans remained as cat servants (who would open the cans?) which actually didn't change much... :D

Kitty (that now may be a bit more than grade A...) came from Minna's "Postcards" illustrations, and the original Kitthanos art is here.

I hope you enjoyed this little series! I surely did!

EDIT: changed the image to correct a few details.
