I think that's the under-minions who have to use fannish enthusiasm. Every proper madgirl/boy needs somebody who'll tell them off when necessary.

And I keep forgetting that a lot of these people just woke up -- and the last thing they remember is a very long time ago in our story time, and years even in the comic. Franz threw Gil out, at Agatha's instruction, right after Agatha re-energized the Castle; Gil had been attempting to "rescue" her by capturing her while she was doing so. Shortly after that she got thrown through the time portal.

It's more a matter of a vague memory followed by searching through the comic's function -- down some distance below the comic on the page there's a box where you can look for story sequences by titles. (It says "jump to a scene".) The titles are often kind of vague and each covers a number of pages; but if I can remember more or less in the sequence when something happened, I can usually hunt around for a bit and find what I'm after.

Also once in a while I reread chunks of the comic; so I expect I'd re-read that more recently than 2013. Agatha bringing down the lightning is one of my favorite bits.

Yes indeedy!  As you said, the jump-to-scene prompts are quite vague - many's the time I've gone looking for something and ended up doing a re-read of something different altogether.  (Sometimes the fandom wiki is faster.)

Cliffhanger! A genuine Friday cliffhanger, like I haven't seen since the SSSS days!
Completely unfounded speculation incoming, stand by...

Spoiler: show
Something about that 'we don't know what size its form will be'...It's Uncle Barry, isn't it? o please o please?

But then again, it could be just like in the SSSS days, my prediction-fu is not good.  We shall see.

If that guess turns out to be right I'm going to be laughing really hard!

-- I'm wondering whether, after all this commotion about
Spoiler: show
its being expected to be huge, it'll turn out to be mouse sized.

-- wait a minute*. Is the Vozzler not only making an artwork out of this, but also, in some fashion, deciding what happens?

*or, rather, wait at least two days. If we're really lucky.

Very bad guess by Agatha as well, thinking that it must be better to be able to crank the weapon up to 37! The beast appears to be fully through now?

Looks like it to me, anyway.

I suppose there's some magical effect that makes a body of that size able to be functional? Though it might come under Rule of Funny if the next page shows it collapsing under its own weight.

Although I have the uneasy feeling that the next page is going to switch scenes entirely, leaving this one hanging.

Now that we see the Baron again, I wonder once more: is it the custom to make clumsy-looking huge stitches on purpose, as a fashion choice over top proper little stitches?  :mikkel: o_O

Yeah, that does seem odd. I would think that surgeons who were that successful at stitching people back up would be able to do a neater job. Also, I would think the wounds would heal faster with less chance of infection. Maybe magic takes care of the healing and the infection and the stitches are only necessary to keep the parts in general proximity to each other, so the surgeons got in the habit of using a few large stitches instead of a lot of little ones because it's faster to do?

I mean, steampunk or no steampunk, a lot of this world has to be functioning on magic. I don't care how good your science is, it's not going to account for some of the stuff that happens.
