Making an off button didn't succeed, but we fixed all them bugz! Namely:
 • Make the new posts stars appear on every layout ✔
 • Make avatars appear on every layout ✔
 • Make avatars have the right size everywhere ✔
 • Fix topic lists and the like getting squeezed ✔
With these fixes I believe the mobile layout is now usable. Enjoy! :)
(and keep reporting odd things as you stumble across them)

Well I feel silly now *blushes profusely*
Sorry for freaking out guys, I just really like the mobility of having the forum in my pocket wherever I go. I'm gonna try the mobile version now (whilst actually being logged in) to see how it looks.

Don't feel silly! We've been working on the mobile theme specifically to help out people like you, so if it's not working for you we do want to know.

BTW guys: also let me know if you see any icons that aren't showing up, for example next to threads in the thread listing. Some of those don't seem to have gotten uploaded properly, so I've just been spot-fixing them where I find them.

I'm responding to this via my phone, it looks so much better now! All of the threads are not pushed up to one side, there are the "new" buttons next to them which is awesome, the different topics now have the stars showing whether or not I have read them; good job with that!

I love how much easier it is to post comments now! All of the options are bigger and fit perfectly into the phone, love how I don't need to zoom in to select emoticons anymore!

Looking much better, thank you for taking care of this so quickly!

One tiny thing about the mobile version... On the main forum page could there be a "new replies to your posts" link, like there is on the PC version? That is something I use almost constantly, and I don't want to have to type out the URL every time. :-\

Otherwise, the fixes to the mobile version are great so far. :)

I don't think the forum theme appreciates it's new child(thread):

Interestingly, it looks fine on the mobile version.

Yeah, I've noticed. Will look into it today, I suspect it can be fixed easily. ;)

iiit's probably not a bug but more like a Coding Thing, but I've realized that if you put an apostrophe (and probably other punctuation) in a spoiler description, the spoiler won't work.

Spoiler: this is an example • show

heyo this works

Spoiler: it's an example too • show

too bad this doesn't

one can read apostroph'd spoilers with the quote function though. this has been a psa
you'll know where to find me.

Oh man I've been trying to figure out why some spoilers don't work. I just assumed it was my really old phone/computer. Thank you for the psa.

I'm not sure if we can fix this, but I did some testing and suspect it happens only when there are ' and " in the spoiler title. Eg:
Code: [Select]
Nope
These two characters mark beginnings and ends of strings (variables for storing text) in computer code and when the program encounters them, it may think that a string has ended there and messes up. If you cannot avoid these characters in spoiler titles, write a \ before the ' or ". This tells the little buggy piece of code that that ' or " is just a piece of text, not the end of a string, and it should go on. ;)
Example:
Code: [Select]
Hey, this works!
Spoiler: Doesn't work • show
Nope

Spoiler: Don\'t test, does work • show
Yay!

Edit: I tested more, the problem seems to be in the expand/collapse code of spoilers, we'll see if we can do something with it.

For some reason logging into or out of the forum redirects me to the reaction image page automatically. Might be a bug?
