Graphic charter (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Graphic_charter)
The forum visuals are quite grey, do you need help to make it more SSSS-like?
EDIT
I am speaking of the colors and CSS, quite easy to edit
I feel the need to edit this post as it seem almost no one understod the first time :P

Minna told she would make some drawings.

Yup
We don't need to wait passively, we can still edit the CSS to make it a cSSSS ;)

May I point out that the proper way is to install a changed theme as a new one, and make that the default one once it's ready ... and that Inferno (http://ssssforum.pcriot.com/index.php?action=theme;sa=pick) might be the better starting point.

Heh, that's actually why I downloaded it.
If anyone wants to start picking out colors to use that'll look more Minna-esque, give a shout, and I'll get them put in as quick as I can.

I'm not a color theorist, but the colors I associate most strongly with SSSS are the ones every new reader sees at the very beginning - black, orange-redish, grey and beige-ish (http://www.sssscomic.com/comic.php?page=1).
That red/orange would give a little bit of color amidst all the monochromy, but only as a supporting color so it doesn't get overwhelming.

i did some messing about with the prologue image and photoshop and these are the four colours i came up with, listed in hex and then rgb:
beige: #ebc8b2 (235, 200, 178)
black: #150102 (21, 1, 2)
red-orange: #dd4820 (221, 72, 32)
grey: #b1979a (177, 151, 154)

almost purplish:
dark blue #250842 (37, 8, 66)
purple #3d1343 (61, 19, 67)
(yes, they're very dark on a white background)

Any progress on this?

It's taken a back seat, for now. I'm more concerned with backups and the space issue, right now. After that comes the UTF-8 implementation. Then this, if nothing else comes up.

This is a really good idea. You're all sexy code wizards from space. 8) Sadly I can only stand by and watch while you save the earth, but I am really thrilled you'll do something! Minna colour forum > grey forum. :D

Great idea, more than willing to help. I've swapped out the main colours and you can view my version here*: https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=466451D18E813F8E!15352&authkey=!AFcu0aqQMBG6YD0&ithint=file%2ctxt
*this post did contain several insults about the code on this here forum - I've edited those out because I didn't have time to fix them (the code errors) and because this website is much more complicated than anything I've made myself, so what looks like shit could actually be important and impossible to subvert (that said, the over-reliance on nesting, Javascript, outdated code [HTML1!], inline styles and painful CSS hacks do make me wish that someone who isn't starting Year 12 tomorrow could come along and clean everything up).

I'll take a look at this when I can find some time between classes, assignments, and writing a resume.
Also, please don't bypass the swear filter. You can write the whole word out, and the site will censor it for you.

A curse filter? Hmm well i have an small idea that if any devs of the site would want to make his pet project i would be delighted.
Perhaps make the filter make any common curse words transform in to an insult in spririt of the SSSS. So instead of the normal **** we could have "Trolljävlar" or something like that ( it's late and i currently can't come up with anything that creative ).
I know it's a small thing, but i think if anyone had the time to make this happen it could be at least a nice addition with all the forum colors and such
Just my late night ramblings. Ignore if it makes no sense.

My friend, if you can figure out how to defeat the *spam* filter, I will personally bake you a batch of cinnamon buns. You may have seen in the Bug Fixes thread that our host site seems to be over-reacting to terms that show up commonly in spam (but aren't curse words that activate the filter Eich was talking about) -- e.g. "pen!cillin", "Russ!an br!des," and "Oxycont!n."
Using any of those terms in a post or PM means the site just eats your text and burps out a 403 or 404 error code.
As far as your original idea about curse substitutions, I like it. But it'll have to get in line behind the technical problems.
Keep up with the suggestions, though!

Sorry i did see the things about the spam filter, but i guess my brains just went spam =/= cursewords thou that is quite an obvious thing. I guess posting ideas at 1am isn't the best thing to do and i do promise to think about them a tad more before posting a new one.
