This year, the prompts are inspired by Tarot. Whether or not you ascribe supernatural gifts of divination to the arrangement of images as they appear, contemplating these timeless images can often reveal an approach to a question that you had not considered. And, unlike the playing cards that evolved from them, a reversed card is not interpreted in the same way as the upright card.
Each day is assigned a card, with both upright (U) & reversed (R) meanings, mix and match or incorporate both? Upright is not always positive, nor reversed negative. Meaning synopses are given from my favourite text*. You are free to consult your own favourite interpretation, or let the image and its details guide you, as it was designed to do.

1st October - Death (U)
This island has been abandoned for so long. The burnt houses stand testament to the destruction of all those lives, years ago. Only the cemetery remains. It’s a small consolation, but the ones who have a grave to visit are the lucky ones. The few who disappeared with no body left behind… it doesn’t bear thinking about.
I have noticed the ashes of gardens are good soil. My flowers grow better here than in any of my previous postings. Something beautiful for the kin visiting the cemetery. In time, maybe, someone moves back. It’s good to come to a garden.
I’m sure you can tell whose musings are presented in this drabble.

Death of The Endless, more-or-less as she appeared in the recent Netflix adaptation of DC's The Sandman series. Death is a sunny soul who has come to terms with the essential job she must do, as a kind face to be there for those leaving this life.

Jitter, a very fitting drabble! And I agree, it´s always good to return to a garden.
Wave, I haven´t seen the show so I have no idea what Death actually looks like there, but I can say that it is a lovely drawing that encapsulates a sunny and kind personality wonderfully!
Also offering hugs for the personal stuff.
Here´s my contribution from yesterday, (thanks to my old enemy fading daylight photographed today):
1: Death
I actually tried to do all the prompts here, and actually drew a card.
This is Stella (and her sidekick Daffodil), the main characters from the game Spiritfarer. I picked that game up at the library by chance a few months ago, and ended up liking it so much I actually bought it recently.
In it you play said main character who just took over the duty of sailing the recently passed away to the afterlife from a much more traditionally-deathy-looking-death. Now your task is to collect souls, fulfil their last wishes and then get them over to the next world (not before the game gets you thoroughly attached to them though...). It´s a very pretty game, though also a very sad one.
And there´s flower-symbolism! :) I only drew the flowers of the souls who already live/lived on my boat though cuz I didn´t want to get spoiled looking the others up.
Death because Stella´s the current incarnation of it
Change and Renewal as she and the world around her have to navigate the change in management surrounding dying

Tuuri followed the swan towards Tuonela, curious what the next step in her journey will be. Everytime she tried to ask a question the Swan would say hurry hurry. She hoped that there would be an adventure in this next part of her existence.
Down down they flew until they got to the water. "Get in", the swan said.
All Tuuri saw was sleeping birds of many descriptions. They were still, silent.
"Wait, you mean all I am going to do is lay in the water and sleep forever?"
"This is how it is. Get in."
"But I thought there would be more. Being with my family, or a new adventure. Not just forever sleep and stagnation. This was like Keuruu."
She thought of escaping, but a huge wave of sleepiness engulfed her. She slid into the water asleep and silent.
2 - 3 of Swords - (U) Emotional Intensity / (R) Emotional Tedium
Onni and Ásta snuck away from the adults and hid in a cove..giggling like young lovers would.
"I never kissed anyone before."
"Kissing a person for fun. No I have not either."
"What if it is icky.?"
"We don't have to do it then. Do you want to?"
"Yes..Very much"
As they came together and kissed they both felt a stomach tightening tickle. Onni and Ásta both felt very warm.
"Oh my!", they both said. "I did not know it would be like that!"
"Me either. Let's get back. I think if we stay they will find us and I think we need more time to be alone, and really think about this."
Both were thinking of the next time they can slip away.

Oh, isn’t he just the sweetest? And most beautiful? I love him so so much! What would I have done if he had died? To think how close I came to losing him forever makes my heart ache and stomach twist. But now we are finally together again and I can keep him safe. I will embrace him and kiss his lovely cheeks every day. We’ll never part again. I will make sure of it! He’ll never see the outside of his room after this stunt! It almost wast the death if me!
Young man, you are grounded for life!

Why oh why did we go through with this? The plan was foolhardy to begin with. Certainly we have sent them to their deaths. It should have been clear to everyone it is far too dangerous to begin with, and then the budget was cut to half. What on earth possessed us that we still carried on?
What terrible, greedy, selfish, despicable human beings ww are! We sent five people to a certain death, just to make some kronur. And not just “people”, our own family too. The kids will never forgive me for this! I will never forgive myself!

Death was always going to be sad, and it is in both takes, even with the addition of the flowers. The emotional takes are, however, all amusing. Well done!

Sigrun, Mikkel and Reynir started the procession to the meeting place. None of them wanted to move. Sigrun knew if they lingered it would mean death to all. So as tired as she was, she forced all to continue onward.
Emil looked at Lalli, his heart breaking for the anguish he knew Lalli was feeling. He knew Lalli would have been ok continuing on without him, but something in Emil's heart said Lalli may choose not to. He wanted Lalli to make it and he was going to walk through the ends of the earth to make sure he did. Both will "suck it up"and continue to the meeting place.
I like writing the little snippets, they are giving me ideas for stories (If I can be not lazy...)

As for the latest one, my Finnish is not beyond the most basic yet, but what I can tell is that the POV-person is remeniscing about Onni, "that Dane", Tuuri and Reynir who is possibly in Keuruu right now(?) So my brain is currently coping with its fading fixation on the Magnus Archives by latching onto everything else Jonathan Sims has worked on. For now that means the Mechanisms. (expect more art for both of these things for the rest of the month :P )
So if I could interest anyone in some Norse myths-inspired space-steampunk, have Loki and Sygin in their interpretation from "the bifrost incident". They´d both actually fit the "endurance"-prompt best but I really wanted to draw a turnaround-card and the mental image of Sygin defending herself with chains was just too cool.

That was indeed a sorry business. She was such a foolhardy lass, to go on such a trip even though she wasn’t immune! She was always so keen, already when she was a tiny girl. I didn’t pressure her, she was always wanting to go. Who am I to say no to her?
Well anyways, I suppose I should try to find out where Onni went and make sure things are all right with him. Even though this situation isn’t my fault.

a question for ye native English speakers. In the English dub of the game her morays are called "eels". I´ve only heard that in the context of these fellas so far. Did they do that for the pun (her fight is called "the eel-deal") or are eels and morays the same thing?

He'd been worried about people though. Would he be able to do it?
Turns out it was easy enough to pull the trigger when he was being shot at.
The fighting is over now.
He walks over to the corpse he's made.
A young man, like him.
Two decades put to an abrupt stop by a half-ounce of lead.
"Good clean shot, least he didn't 'ave t'suffer" remarks Tom.
Arthur agrees as he checks his rifle.
Checks it's ready for the next kill.

I already knew what you'd say" Arthur gives a knowing smile. He kisses her again, and sets her upright. He knew it would happen someday. He knew fate would repay it's debt to him, for what he'd lost. But he doesn't dwell on that. For the first time in a while, he looks to the future with confidence. He thinks it's happiest he'll ever be, save for the day of the births. And he's right.

It's an accusation of insubordination, dressed up like a mishearing.

"When isn't he? Stranks, I feel it might be time for him to have a bit of an accident before he gets us all killed."

Ah yeah, here we go again. She and her crackpot theories! She’s crying “science”, yet everything she says is conspiracy theory, blatant hate or just plain crazy talk. I know this trick so well. She’s making so much noise about proof and more information, and of course she’s the only one making the “correct conclusions”. She’s counting on people to believe her without actually ever seeing her so called evidence!
I do hope she’s wrong again. It would be… unfortunate if it turned out that she’s right on this. Would look bad. And of course I don’t want to die!

Onni, Just managed to get hired by the military at Keuruu. Despite some criticisms. Looking at his shift schedule he will be working a double for the next couple of weeks. That Senior mage that was from Iceland was a bit full of herself, but no one can call any Hotakainen lazy or useless. He knows, he will show them.

I hate this! I’m cold and hungry all the time. I miss my things, and all my pretty clothes. And television! Even books. Now everything is boring and scary. And damp. I hate having nothing. They say we are lucky to be alive at all, but I think being this poor sucks.
If we survive and I get on with my life, I’ll never be poor again! I will start a business, maybe a shop, or build a mine or a wind turbine. I will be rich and happy! And warm, and have good food and cake whenever I want!

The horror of what happened became intertwined with the poor conditions in her child’s mind, and ever since that terrible winter, feeling the first pangs of hunger always filled her with a nameless dread.
(Actually this is not poverty at all, everyone lost everything so no one was poor or rich for a while. But Mia was a child and didn’t understand that)

I am not nearly as sorry about this purposefull misinterpretation of the prompt as I probably should be. :D
These are some of my favorite teacups, plus one of my mom´s favorite teacups (the one with the birds) that I also think is really pretty. I especially like the Tyrannosaurus though, because it becomes see-through when you pour hot liquid into it to reveal the skeleton of the dinosaur underneath it, which is such a cool effect.

Too bad this is not an enjoyable victory. Maybe I can indulge in just a bit of imagining certain people trying to escape it all, only to realize they have nowhere to go to. (But only a bit, mind you. Apocalypse is not a funny thing.) No supplies, no training, not even a plan. Sorry to say, but it’s too late now. At this point you should have years of preparation. Lucky for us we have been so sensible. We get the last laugh!

Oh give me strength! Kids nowadays! How is it even possible to be so young, healthy and able-bodied, and so completely useless at the same time? They all have their fancy university studies and posh hobbies, but if there’s one person among them that could survive in the wild for longer than a weekend trek, I’m flabbergasted! Lucky for them I got here before it was too late. Someone has to run this show! I may be old, but there’s still enough spark in me to keep them alive for now. Assuming they do what I tell them to do!
Mirasol, I’m sure you already guessed but I love the teacups! The character(s) is cool too.

From what we see from Reynir and Lalli, being in the dreamspace and by extension, sensing the things that lurk around gets way more intense when you sleep in the Silent World. They both didn´t exactly react to it that much, probably because Lalli was used to the effect and Reynir didn´t know anything else, but I´ve been thinking about military mages who weren´t prepared directly out in the field. Seiður-Academy is in the middle of a safe-zone, after all. Their first night outside must be terrifying.
Also I felt like drawing my character from the SSSS-roleplay, Dísa. Her first night (close) to the Silent World was before she finished her training though, on the first longer fishing trip she went on with her family at about 15.

Robert drums his fingers on the rails as he looks out over the grounds.
"Nervous?" Michael asks "I reckon she'll say yes."
He gives a derisive snort.
"Oh, she'll say yes. I've planned this too well for that. I've worked out what makes her tick, just like I do every time."
Michael's response is nothing but a look of horrified surprise.
"Oh, Michael, you really didn't realize? You thought I wanted her for anything more than to get my family off my back about getting married? She's pretty and charming, sure enough, but not enough to hold my attention for long"
Michael turns to leave, but is checked by another sentence from Robert
"Don't bother trying to warn her, she'll just think you're jealous, won't she?"
Michael listens, and leaves.
A few minutes later, Robert turns to see the door open.

It's Arthur, his hard, weathered face filled with cold fury, his rythmic voice deep and rumbling like a brewing thunderstorm.
"You deceitful bastard, I knew I was right to suspect you."

"The next words out your mouth better be the sincerest apology you've ever uttered, or I might give in to my urge to throw you over that railing."
Robert struggles to muster his usual confidence, and shakes slightly under the pale, withering gaze.

The inspector's voice is calm and kind, her soft voice soothing.

"Nothing to apologise for. None of this was your fault. How could it be? Just go over everything you saw. Take your time, even the smallest detail could be the most important."
The soldier speaks in English rather than Gaelic, with an accent that rises and falls, in a firm, reassuring tone.
Emer takes a deep breath, and begins.
"It was dark, and she had a scarf and hat covering much of her face, but she had light hair, and... and... she was quite tall, I suppose..."
"How did she speak?" the inspector asks
"She had a fast, high voice, she sounded like she was from Galway, maybe"
"And how did she walk?"
"Sorry?"
"Did she stride? shuffle? march? slouch?"
Emer stops to think awhile, and replies with "She had a sort of... limp, with her left foot"
The inspector looks at the soldier, they exchange a smile, and stand up.
"Thank you for your time, Miss Callaghan. We have the information we need."

While we´re on the topic of sharing life-stories of RP-characters. :)
RM, you´ve inspired me as well, so here is my character from the Fallout-RP, Charlie (the girl with the Polka-dot-headband). The other people in the picture are her mom and her brothers.
To become a professional dancer, especially a really good one, you must make the commitment pretty early in your life (so ideally at like 9-10 I believe). And damn do you have to be commited to it. I think to decide on your goal in life at such a young age takes a whole lot of bravery (and conviction).
Neither of which I myself have in spades, but have admired my real-life-Ballett-teachers for all my life (I danced as a hobby for 15years).

While searching in the old store for supplies, Emil found some toys. Considering he did not want to carry them, he dropped them on the ground. Lalli saw something colorful and picked it up. Realizing it was a puzzle that needed to have the colors match on each side, he started turning the pieces. He never realized he was now doomed to complete it.

As the souls were freed from the Kade, some decided they liked the power they had. They decided to not follow the swan and instead went looking for their old bodies. Knowing full well they will infect others

Tuuri was able to get any old world device working. She established a nice little side business in Keuruu. Though the Icelandic mages there frowned on her work. That suited Tuuri *just fine*

Lieutenant Cunningham-Redbridge fiddles with the sole of her boot. It can move a half-inch from the rest by now.
"Don'ae be pickin' at it, you'll only break them, I'll have to carry you everywhere."
She smiles at him and his teasing "For you, James, I'll keep on picking"
"Oi, Lieutenant Slybacon, once yer done makin' doey eyes a' the jock, let me know what size shoe you wear."
Fairfax doesn't stop as he speaks, carrying on over to a crate, which he start to rummage through.
"Four, why do you ask?"
His only response is to fling a pair of boots at her.

He gestures to his right wrist, which now has two watches, one equisitely made.

He has little time to consider it before Oliver makes his entrance, surprisingly loudly for a man who can be so stealthy. His cousin begins to speak, but sees Kaðlín sitting quietly in the corner, and near seamlessly shifts from English to Gaelic. “We ‘ave a solution. But you probably ain’t goin’tae like it, and the norse’un’s goin’t like it as much havin’ ‘er head boiled”
“We meaning you and Douglas?”
“Actually me and Emily this time. We decided that the solution to our situation is the Norwegians.”
“They've already refused to help us, so I assume you're going to propose either theft or extortion?”
“Well, theft's a strong word, but perhaps some things might get lost or mislaid, after all, that is what the wights of these isles are known to do…”
“Are they, Ollie, are they really?”
“Nah, just some bollocks Emmy came up with, but those bloody vikings don’t know that, do they?”
James smiles at his cousin. “Listen, I don't like the Norwegians any more than you do, but I also don't want to cause too much trouble. The Icelanders are already angry with the Manx and their piracy, and I doubt they can tell the difference between types of Briton, and if they kick up a stink, that’ll make the reclamation of Skye all the harder. But Lieutenant Emily Catrionna Macleod-Lloyd is our ranking officer here, and you two’s idea of a fun date is to go steal supplies from a bunch of arrogant Norseman, go ahead.”
“Thanks, Jim, knew I could count on you.” Oliver leaves with a smile on his face, leaving Kaðlín with a confused look, but when she asks what they were talking about, James brushes it off as being a family matter, concerning Oliver’s relationship with Emily, and that was enough explanation for the Icelander, at least for the time being.

22 - 8 of Pentacles - (U) Apprenticeship / (R) Aimlessness
Onni really did not want Reynir hanging around. The Icelander could be such an annoyance. Though he felt he owed him something for helping rid the world of the Kade. It would not be a bad idea. This way Reynir would not get any of those high-falutin ideals the other Icelandic mages had. Plus sometimes company is not a bad thing.

20: 2 of wands
Hm this one was difficult. But well, since both meanings of this card can be interpreted negatively, I decided to draw a villain-duo for this one (not that they look much different from most others I´ve drawn so far... -_- Designing bad guys is hard).
The one on the left has rejected knowledge about magic to the point of destroying his own wand and wearing the broken pieces as some sort of prize, the one on the right has learned everything she can about magic, even the morally questionable parts. Both think they´re better than everyone else for this, and are absolutely in the right to manipulate and rule over people because of it.
That they begrudgingly work together as means to an end and actually came from the same family originally might be a little hypocritical, but hey, the world doesn´t get taken over by itself - plus there will probably be an epic duel by the end.
(That right there was probably the closest thing to a backstory of any of the witch-characters I draw you´ll ever get. :'D )

21: 8 of Swords
Another Mechanisms-card, this time inspired by the song(s) "Alice", their retelling of Alice in wonderland.
More specifically, their interpretation of the Queen of Hearts, in this case an old Rose Red-Soldier which went insane/malfunctioned (It´s never entirely clear in any story of the Mechanisms where Rose Reds show up in to what degree they are sentient. They are clones of a human soldier named Rose that were modified to be the perfect warriors, but often have more machine- than person-vibes.) and started imprisoning and beheading everyone who she sees as a deserter to The War (which ended 60 years ago but details). This one ended up a bit on the gorier side of things, so I spoilered it.

Reynir knew he was a mage, but he was at a loss on how he could prevent the ghosts from following him and his teammates home. He felt they would wreak havoc on the known world. He so much wanted to help them. He asked Freya and Odin for help in finding a solution.

Yes yes I know, absolutely not the sort of aimlessness this card intended... ;)
So anyways, has anyone here played Go Vacation? Cuz that game was my childhood. (and now my youngest sibling is playing it and loves it just as much as me and my brother used to. <3 )
But well, the game is a collection of minigames with an overworld to go with it centered around the coolest vacation you could imagine. In one of the regions there´s a few target-shooting-minigames. Me and my brother were both relatively useless at them (and my sibling isn´t such a sweater as the two of us and just uses my brother´s maxed out account to play the games she likes, which doesn´t include these :'D), but since some were more about timing than aim, I was actually slightly better at than him in them. Hence my player-character´s smug expression over hitting one more target... somewhat (red shots).

Sena´s in a bit of a Catra-from-She-Rapop-situation. Always second best to her greatest idol/best friend/definitly crush if her society had a concept of romance, Mio (the cat-girl in the speech-bubble), and is in constant need to compensate for it. Even though she´s surrounded by friends and could skill-wise mop the floor with most other members of her group, she hasn´t really found her place in the world yet. Or at least has yet to notice she totally has.

I have to be able to secure a place at this farm. But I'm sure they will only take in people who contribute. What can I do that is useful in this situation? I don’t have military skills and I'm not very strong. Let's see… I can fix things, plumbing and stuff, and probably the same principles more or less apply to engines, right? That's worth something. I can cook, sort of, and care for children, or at least keep them quiet, and dress basic wounds. I'm willing to carry, build, organise, dig. Even shovel dung. If I absolutely must.

It happened again. I can't take it anymore. I just… it's not right. We are not even trying to drive them off, we just... we just go for them. I know why we must, and yet… this cannot be right. I cannot do this anymore. But it's not going to get better, ever again, is it? It's just this, everywhere. Still, I have to get away. If I stay here, I will be as doomed as those poor people we heard about in the radio before… well, before whatever happened, happened. I don't want to know. I really, really don't.

Oh the hopefulness of youth. The innovativeness of the development team is commendable. But we all know it's already too late. It was too late last week. Our so research here won't even help pushing the inevitable any further. We have only managed to postpone our own realization that this is it. This is the end of us, of our people, of all people. This is the end of the world. Not just "as we know it" but the actual end of all things. At least we can help some go in peace, and to avoid the… most painful part.
15.10. - The Sun - (U) Rebirth / (R) Clinging
I wonder what do they see in me? Always they cling to me, and in every liter there is the one that just won't leave me alone. I try to repay everyone by taking extra guarding duties. It's the least I can do, with all the "deputies" I keep getting. Luckily they will protect everyone, even if it's only as extension to protecting me. Well, at least I know what I see in them. They are proud and aloof yes, but also so cute and warm and tender. I've always preferred them to people, I guess it goes both ways.
16.10. - Strength - (U) Courage / (R) Lack of Conviction
Oh well, this time Marta sure was right with her "bad feelings." I'll have to tell her, if we live through this. I know she hates me working here, but I mean what else can I do? Someone has to do it. Certainly, these hapless kids need protection. But does it always have to be me? Yes, I guess it does. I love and hate this, especially at these moments. Oh, that's a big one! Well, no dawdling, go and get it! Let's fry some troll! This is what I live for. And probably die too. But hopefully not today!

Haha, I should suggest that final-battles-strategy to my brother, he might even do it. As far as I´ve heard, the Xenoblade games do tend to completely overlevel you if you do any sidequests, so there´s always good reasons to make it more interesting for yourself I suppose. Plus the other characters also deserve screentime.
I´m looking foreward to Sena´s sidestory, we haven´t really reached it yet. :)

Yeah, my girlfriend did all the sidequests so her characters were quite overlevelled and she wanted a challenge (also it was pretty funny because they're all in the same outfits using the same weapons and taking next to no damage). My warning about having a party made entirely of dodge tanks is that it makes all the battles very. very. slow. You are very hard to kill, but you also don't do much damage, and it's a terrible setup for chain attacks. Definitely put a healer as your hero, though, otherwise you're a bit screwed.
(also yeah, my main contribution is also running commentary, haha!)

Oh, seems I misunderstood you with the strategy (I for some reason thought she was switching between heroes all the time, my bad...). But now I get it. My brother got it too when I told him, so there was no loss of information. xD
Haha I can imagine with all the same outfits. Though my brother has them all set to the standard (as in the ones they get from the guy from the City in the beginning). Every now and then he´ll ask me if he should change them, click through all the current options for five minutes, only to change nothing in the end and call it a day.
I mean... not that combat in this game is the absolute fastest endeavour in to begin with... (at least from an outside perspective) :P I could probably make myself tea during a bossfight and come back to find it still going even with a way more aggressive setup. As long as it´s still interesting for the player, why not. :'D

Poor, misled child! I suppose it's understandable, with all his siblings in the military. Surely his head has been filled with nonsense about danger and adventure from a young age. What a pity, such talent going to waste chasing for cloud castles. Good thing he can't be accepted into the army, even the barbaric Norwegians know better!
I've always felt uneasy around men with the talent. Freya blesses us with ability to nurture, protect and help things grow. Clearly women are more suitable. Whereas men and their dreams of glory tend to focus on the wrong things. Just like him.

I actually don´t really feel my usual batch of marker-burnout this time, which I´d say is progress! But atmittedly, this challenge did take up most of my free time last month so I´m still glad to have finished it.
Though I still have one plan for the drawings from this year, which is binding them in some way. I´ll see if I can manage that. If it ends up looking alright I´ll post it here.

Ugh, he's so full of himself! So irritating. 'Oh look at me, I'm a great hero and mage and all'! Yeah right. He doesn't really know anything. I could be a mage, if knowing two staves counted! I have read all the books, I bet it's more than he's ever learned about any magic. He just happens to have some sort of a talent, or at least thinks he does. Unearned blessing, I say! It's so unfair that my hard work has not come to anything, and the harebrain dilettante gets the glory. Banishing ghosts, whoo what a big deal!
24.10. - Knight of Cups - (U) Search for Intuitive Knowledge / (R) Passivity
Everyone is so busy. Getting us settled, building an outhouse, making firewood… who would have thought end of the world is so much work? And her… Of course, having a baby is probably a lot of work in any time, but surely all this is too much? Just relax and it will happen on its own. That's what I've read anyways. Freaking out doesn't help with anything and will only wear us all out. Speaking of which, I'm really tired… maybe I can catch a nap, if I sneak aboard the boat. No one will miss me for a while.

I think I'm going to pass out. Does she not see that I can't keep this up? The songs and spells are one thing, but all this running… It's all right for her, she can run all night, but I can't. In fact, I can't take another step.

This is so cool! He's a mage, and yet he's out here with us. But can foreigners be mages? At least you have to know Finnish to be able to make runos, right? Or maybe the gods and spirits understand any language? Anyways, he's so great. I want to be just like him! I'll get to see all the terrible trolls and beasts and just drive them away with my runos! Or the… what's the word? The galdrusarfrar? I wonder if Iceland really is as cool as everyone says. It must be, because they are so safe and so blessed!

Why is everyone being so overly respectful? I hate it! It makes me feel old! Well, ok, I AM old. But still, it's not like everyone needs to talk about it, right? I want respect and expect people do what I say, but not because of my age. Because I know what should be done! Of course, I have a few wins under my belt, even if I say so myself. So, maybe it is appreciation of my knowledge rather than deferring to my age. Young people these days! No discipline. No long-term planning. Just hand-waving. They need me around.
28.10. - 8 of Cups - (U) Moving On / (R) Giving Up
Ok, ok, I'll stay close by. At least for the time being. But I have to get out to the sea, even a short distance off. If I have to sit around with these city kids one more day, I'll go crazy! No fishing, no city, no booze, no nothing! This is driving me bonkers.
Although, I guess apocalypse is hard on everyone. Maybe I shouldn't complain. At least we are all alive, so far. Good thing the granny showed up, or the kids would be doomed. I wonder if she knows how to make booze with what we have?

Whew! Towards the end it was getting difficult as I had already used so many characters that came to mind. I guess I should have planned all of them in the beginning.

For the 30. I can totally see it, however Onni is out of (my self-imposed) scope. Trust me, there were several times when I cursed myself for deciding to rule out he team members. Onni in particular could have been a perfect fit for many of the clues.
