Ooooh!  A new-to-me group.  There's a very Steeleye Span vibe about it!

Here's what I have on tonight:

I was just surfing Youtube, and happened to just run into this lovely music box version of a song called "First Love" by Utada Hikaru. Not familiar with the original song itself, sadly.

Half-crumbled I guess: :southkorea:

That is very nice indeed; if perchance you're looking for more world music with hammered dulcimer-like instruments, you can look the local names up:

Yanggeum/양금 (Korea)
Yoochin/Ёчин (Mongolia)
yangqin/扬琴/揚琴 (China)
Đàn tam thập lục/tam thập lục (Vietnam)
Khim/ขิม/ឃឹម (Thailand, Cambodia)
Santur/سنتور (Iran)
Santoor/ਸੰਤੂਰ (India)
Fluent: :fr: :gb:
Some knowledge: :it:
Attempting to learn again: :de:
Passive familiarity: :es: :br: :ad: :ro:

It's always such a weird feeling to find out that there's a great song that's existed for years and somehow you didn't know of it (and full points to Erin for using the word "hiisi" in its original meaning - in archaic Finnish hiisi was a holy place in the forest, typically a grove or a forest pond).

EDITing to add because Haiz pointed it out to me: ahahahahaha post #666 for this thread! :D Just look how I wasted that chance, I could have at least posted metal...
