Ok. I just wasted like 20min of hw time watching that bit of the video over and over XD

I'm back for more after having spent at least an hour watching it on repeat yesterday.

less toes

Whoa there, come again? Did he lose his toes due to his playstyle?

I never asked what happened to his toes to be honest, but I'm clear he had lost one or two somehow (not exactly sure of this detail since I never saw him barefoot, just without his shoes on).

For some reason it's a Ljótu Hálfvitarnir morning again. Stjáni is a bit weird choice for such an early hour but who cares, it's got a great rhythm for knitting!

Woah, nostalgia trip. Not for the eighties though, I'm not nearly that old, but for GTA Vice City. Man, that game has the best sound track.

Keith Kenniff/Helios released this interactive...browser experience thing for his new album Yume and you can mess around with different parts of the music and it's beautiful.

Hello, Forumites.  I have a question you may be able to help me with.

A few months ago I saw a YouTube video I thought was kind of cool -- unfortunately, I can't remember the name of the band or song.  All I remember was that the band's members (young, English-speaking, both male and female) were dressed up in theatrical-type, vaguely 19th-century soldier uniforms leading a ragtag band of kids armed with cardboard-ish armor and weapons in battle, in a night-time, urban setting.

I'd heard the song on the radio once or twice, mostly likely on KFOG.  I recall it sounded sort of like Of Monsters and Men, but a quick run-through of their YouTube videos isn't turning up the one I remember.

I realize this is a frustratingly vague query  ???, so no problem if this doesn't ring a bell.

A nice little Norwegian song about Sweden.

I recognize the tune:  "Happy Together" by the Turtles.  Do I want to know what the words mean?   :o
(I think I recognized "Svenska pests"...)

That's the song. I was really annoyed earlier because I recognized the song but in another language.

Uhhh... for those of us who don't speak the tongues of the Known World... what's it about?

Et rottent land, hvor nisser bor.
Svensker er en skam, for oss som bor i nord.
Vi overtar jo alt de har,
og det de har er volvo og skabb.

Um... "A rotten land full of boring trolls"?  "Swedes are always committing scams"?  "They drive here and there in their Volvos and have scabs"?  ;)
