(Oh wait -- those guys aren't bad-looking if they'd take a shower, the shirtless lead singer in particular. Maybe I could enjoy the show if I have some earplugs handy...)

I have basically learned not to click on any link provided by Fenris. It's easier that way.

I wrote this music column and selected this playlist for The Guardian (anybody can write for The Guardian these days ::)). It starts off with a Gerard Manley Hopkins poem and ends up with Primordial - a sort of Celtic-death metal squall. There's some kraut-rocking, groovy-bopping, whale-song-folkiness and no-wave-new wave in-between.

I kinda want to, but at the same time I don't. It's like trying to surf for the very first time... When the waves are really high.

Not sure if this is related to the topic of this thread, but does anyone here listen to any music radio stations (both ordinary and online)?
I sometimes listen to the trance channel at 101.ru and online streaming of Radio Złote Przeboje 100.1 FM (a very good Polish radio station I found during a bus trip to Warsaw years ago).

*Decides to listen
*Listens a bit more
*Ends up playing the whole album on repeat all day.

Do you happen to know of any more music like this perhaps?

Ahhhh sorry I didn't see this! I'm so glad you like it :D

Here is something I find similar:

This is actually one of my favourite artists right now. She sings in Swedish, English, and Sami (this song is in Sami) and I love hearing the traditional music influence in her stuff.

Like this one or this one? Looks like they only have one video director, like Iceland has only one drummer (and all their videos are made by a radio from Seattle obviously).
