So I actually created this playlist as a magickal sounding mood board of sound for when I'm drawing my own comic, but I've found it also works as a decent soundtrack for when I'm re-reading my SSSS books :)

Admittedly the folk music in it is more Scottish than Nordic though.

Woah, that’s a cool track, Barret! Sadly I don’t have Spotify (yet!) but the snippets I heard of songs were really interesting (and a bit spooky XD)- I’ve never heard bagpipes and a jazz-y beat be combined like that before!!!

Thanks Alkia :)  I listen to quite a bit of modern folk inspired rock from Scotland so I often forget others don't hear it!  I remember being in a car with an in-law from Scotland and my music came on, she burst out laughing, "Oh my god, have they tried to make scottish sounding rock with bagpipes! That's so stupid!" It was by a very popular band here... I don't like my in-laws.

Sorry to miss this, haven’t been to this thread for awhile. ‘Breizh digannes’ is the name of a song which seems to be one of the anthems of the Breton independence movement, the title meaning ‘Free Brittany’. Haven’t heard it in years/decades. The things one forgets.
