So, more of my weird synesthetic impressions of music... The opening of this one honestly sounds like that moment when you change locations on Google Earth and it zooms out from one side of the planet to the other. I want to vid this so bad just to see that moment in action.

Yeah, that's a pretty good analogy. It reminded me more of going for hours in the sun on the fast lane of a highway, but either way it's a great song, thanks for the recommendation!

I know a lot of people have heard Flobot's song 'Handlebars', it was all over the radio at least in the U.S. for a long time. They have a lot of other pretty great stuff out. I think they might be the only rap artist I actually really like and find myself listening to pretty frequently, well except for maybe the occasional Saje Francis too. Anyway, I think this might be my favorite song by them.

There's a serious lacking of symphonic music in this thread and I have full intentions of changing that.

This is a delightfully sinister sounding piece from Prokofiev's 1935 'Romeo and Juliet' ballet. A long standing favorite of mine  :D

I can't believe you just posted that, I've been thinking about doing it myself.

This is my all time favorite orchestral song, just listen to the brass it's sooo good!
