This board is dedicated to playing interactive games with other Forumites. Ongoing games happen on this board, also discussion about roleplaying, suggestions of future games an OOG discussions about games belong to this board.


General rules and guidelines

Open for everyone
A game may have a minimum number of posts required to join, in order to ensure all participants are (likely) going to stay on the game. Besides the post limit, the games played on this board and threads on it are equally open to all Forumites willing to play by the rules. No games limited to specific people or excluding someone, ok? However, see below!

Signups for games required
The games start with agreeing who will play, what / how to play (rules or system, world etc.), what kind of characters there are etc. After a game has started, it is usually limited to the original players.

If you really wish to join, you may ask about a possibility to join at some point, however the feasibility of this depends entirely on the game and the people playing. The games are not required to take on more people once the game has started.

Do not ask in the gaming thread! Use the OOG (out of game) thread for the game in question, or if one doesn't exist, open one.

PG-13 / Teen rated
Remember that the open areas of the Forum are to be suitable for Teen Audiences.

Content description / content warning may also be in order if the content is potentially distressing. If unsure, it's better to err on the side of caution. When a content warning is required, please post the work itself under spoiler tags so that users may choose to see it or not. If you feel that a content warning may diminish the enjoyment of the work such as spoil a surprise element, you can put the content warnings under one spoiler (indicated clearly) and the work under another, so that people may choose to not see the warnings, if they don't feel they need such.

Any content that is deemed not suitable for Teens due to sexual, violent or other content may be moved to the Mature board or removed without warning by the Forum staff.

Discussion welcome in the right threads
Discussion about stuff posted here and the games is open to all Forumites and not only those who contribute. Welcome to comment and cheer each other along!

However, no posting of non-playing comments in the game threads! If you wish to comment as an outsider or make OOG (out of game) chitchat, use or open a different thread. Posting random things in the game threads is impolite and may ruin the mood!

Not limited to SSSS
This board invites games related to SSSS, as well as other worlds, fandoms and games. The worlds are your large number of oysters (what is the collective noun for oysters anyway?)!

Remain friendly
A situation within a game may warrant impolite behavior by your character, and sometimes player characters may end up in odds. Always remember that while your characters may fight, the players do not :)
