Do Canadians have any "pet names" for MPs that might correspond to the Yank term  "Congress Critter?". OR any nationality that wants to chime in about their officials, for that matter. :)

...despite being a Yank (even sort of in the right geographical region) I will confess that I have never heard that term before.

Hmm.  ???  It might be a Southernism, or I might have latched onto it from a Heinlein story.  Or Walt Kelly's Pogo.  Well, that's for the birds.... ::)

next time someone asks how I'm doing I'm just gonna send them this

Urgh, There was someone doing this at my local Biltema store some weeks ago. Like, several times. It gets annoying pretty fast.

I'm back, for a bit. Currently in a hotel in New Jersey, and the hotel wifi actually works really well for once :D We're going to go into the city to eat dinner and see a Broadway show soon \o/
The drive wasn't all bad, but it was really hot outside and I fell asleep twice :P
