This thing has been going so fast recently, I can hardly keep up.  :-[

I know this feel. I had limited internet lately.

ALSO Considering my own self-insert is a medic, I think I'd like to try my hand at drawing the rest of the medics (as a group maybe?)! As long as I receive permission from you folks with medic self-inserts of course.

I'd be cool with it, tho I still need actual uniform/outfit stuff decided for Ilmari, so *shrugs*.

hhhhhh these are beautiful! I love your style! And the surprised-Piney looks like it has a story ... ;)

Thank you!! :D
And I think that the story behind surprised-Piney must have something to do with fire or explosions?

(I am all for this day)
I love it! I didn't even notice there was a problem with the glasses. I'll work on yours this weekend. :) And I hate having to correct people but my hair is longer than that >_>

I'm so glad you liked it!!

(I'm so sorry about the hair... I based my drawing on your first fansona post, maybe I should have looked at some more recent material... D:)

Your style is really pretty =) I like the sideview surprised Piney the most ^^

Thank you!  ;D
I love drawing surprised people, for some reason...

@Daea Reina: I really like the expressive faces. Also, nice job on the hands.
Yes, it was daïmons in english as well. I can't imagine anyone who wouldn't want one :)

Huh, that's weird. In my edition (English, of course) it's written 'dæmon'. I love this series by the way, it was (and still is) one of my favourites :)

Oh and btw - I've chosen the (European) hare as my totem pole/spirit animal thing, so if anyone wants to use the arctic fox, that option is still available! ^^ The hare just seems quite fitting for my character... although maybe not so much with the whole reproduction/fertility association in Anglo-Saxon paganism, but shhhhhh

It may be my mistake, they were library's books and I don't own them yet.

Nono, you were probably right - Unlos confirmed as well. Maybe it's the different editions? I'm not sure why you would change the spelling, but it could just be a question of aesthetic appeal or something. I may have to look into this
I don't know why it interests me so much, but there you go

Internet is telling me I was wrong ^^ "Dæmons". But some editions in other languages have "daimon"...

*Think about what could be her animal totem even if she hasn't a "real self-insert" right now*

Daimon is derived from the ancient Greek - daimonos, I think. Socrates famously declared he had such a daimon. ae is used in some languages to convey the sound of the diphthong alpha-iota, which sounds different in English due to the differences in stresses.

For instance, for both of us, since we have a background in the French language, we can read daimon as "dèmon" - the 'ai' sound, as opposed to how it would pronounced in English: aie, as is die or pie. So daimon would read phonetically as diemon, which is a bit of a distortion.

Yes and no. That would be the physical representative piece, I'm referring to the spirit form that would be hanging around the person, like a pet they can't see.

A Red Wolf (that's how you say it in english? In spanish is Lobo Rojo and in cientific is Canis Rufus)
