our teacher didn't show up and I was rereading Haikyuu so ....

what is height size and distance

inconsistent numbering is a thing ..

Haikyuu and SSSS?! Are you kidding me?!

Would you be surprised if I told you that actual tears welled in my eyes? Because I have little baby tears in my eyes right now. That is beautiful. Purely beautiful. <3

Edit: yo Gwenno I just really really looked at this again and the detail on that branch is super sweet
Aww, so cute! Your copics look really soft.
Thanks :3 I'm trying some new things with varying degrees of success, but it's good to know that they work at least a bit. Also I appear to have developed an irrational love of swirlies. Please send help....

I adore this! Your utilization of copics is really well done, and I love the way that you utilized contrast and the swirly whirlies on the tree. I also love your use of implied lines in the foliage. Very lovely.

A question: what type of paper/surface did you use? I recently got my first copics, and it seems all the paper that I have is too thin for them.
Hahah, I feel this picture doesn't deserve such nice things said about it considering that I'm still very much in the "testing what they can do" phase with copics :P thank you nonetheless, it's lovely to hear it ^_^

As for paper, regular paper can't really hold the ink so you need special copic paper (Alcohol marker paper?). I only knew this because I'm lucky enough to live in Japan where A) Stationary stores stick all copics and accessories together so you'll know everything you need, and B) It's considerably cheaper to buy them than anywhere else so I can actually afford them >"<
I found this online:
http://www.amazon.com/Copic-Markers-Alcohol-Marker-Sheets/dp/B000Q7G7S6
I think that would probably work for you, but if one of the artists here who actually *know* what they're talking about want to chime in feel free to ignore my advice :3

anyway here's two little sketches i drew and posted last night
Yoooooooooooo! Those be some beautiful sketchings. I just love the tiny little hint of sass in Lalli's expression, and Emil's general perfectness :P Heheh, nice tumblr title btw  :))

Sigrid Marie - Long time no see ^_^ but it's good to have you back and bearing such lovely Sigrun gifts. Yet more proof of her most bestness in all situations and outfits

Unlos - One year old huh? Sheesh, your art has developed an awful lot in that time! Nice sketchy Rey Rey, but I really can't wait to see the finished portrait as well  ^-^ I'm going to assume that it will be awesome :P

shaeira - I don't watch Haikyuu, but that definitely doesn't stop me from enjoying this compilation  ;D The Tuuri sketch is my favourite :3 she looks so darn powerful there!

Johannabelle - great sketch! You captured his movement very well
Gwenno - cute little kids :)
Jureeya - oh, Emil and Lalli became so handsome!
Sigrid Marie - I especially love the last Sigrun - simple and elegant
Unlos - happy imgur anniversary :) interesting to see a digital, but very pencil-like drawing
shaeira - Kittnir! :3 I'm not well versed in Haikyuu either, but they look cool as volleyball players

Helia - Heh, already faved on Deviantart :3 But that's such a realistic picture! Seriously, when did you become this good *_* your art has been getting better and better with every picture and it's fantastic to see :D

*blushes* Seriously, this community is quite inspiring. But I can see the development in everybody's art  - who are posting here regularly. So keep up the good work!

Development or not, I still like to draw quick doodles in minimal style. Like this Onni and Taru.

I'm not sure if I should apologise for this or not? Erm, sorry for being ridiculous while everyone is panicking over today's page?
Anyway, it appears that Tuuri and Reynir have their priorities sorted :P

I feel I'm starting to get the hang of these copics now :3

Helia - the minimal style is nice to see too of course ^_^ Especially when it's showing two characters who definitely need more art of them!

Ahahaha, thank you for posting that Gwenno! I definitely needed something lighthearted after the current page. Is Tuuri drawing on Sigrun's face in the last panel? I knew she was brave, but I didn't know she was that brave!

Helia I really like those head shots - I envy your simple clean lines! (Everything I do emerges from a mountain of chicken scratch, hehe). And it's fun to see some Taru art, she doesn't get drawn much.

shaeira those are wonderful, I still adore that Reynir cat!

Ugh there are too many nice arts and I can't remember which I've commented on already. (This is an okay problem to have, but still) Wonderful job to everyone I missed, thank you for making pretty things and posting them. :))

I've seen plenty of jokes that needed an apology. This is not one of them.

Thanks for the laugh!
