Actually, I have a lot to say about this tiny fan-comic, but I'll say only: ugrhhhhhhh

Aaaaaand one stupid addition I had to do.

Yet another treasure from mad robin! I can't stop giggling at Reynir's expression peeping over the top of Sleeping Beauty in that little bit at the end :D

ahhhh man!!! so much beautiful art!!! I'd be here for days if I commented on every one, but uh, dang you guys went hard haha.
I've drawn my first Emil(s) of the year, but I can't seem to focus for more than a few minutes at a time. dang meds.

edit: ah thanks for pointing it out melu! forgot the jpg tag, haha.

Happy New Year everyone! And all my admiration for all awesome fanart popped up here lately! (oh, people who capable to do magic-moving-pictures, are you sold your souls or something like that?)

I wanted to draw something like this for ages ... so, this is my little new year's gift for hmmm... me?
I really like the idea that every Finn (at least) has own safe spot in the dream world, but only mages are powerful enough to wake up. Not sure where and when I've come across this headcanon the first time.
Besides, Reynir and Tuuri are both sweet cinnamon rolls and they're extremely cute even if one of them is asleep. I couldn't resist ._.

Eee, Robin, that extra image wasn't on tumblr right? I love it! :D

I haven't been very productive lately but here are some things Starz got for Christmas, now that she's received them:

I'm actually not too happy with this one, but online it goes as an example of work that was salvaged from complete catastrophe with the judicious appliance of black ink. (How so many people work in mediums without ctrl+z, I will never comprehend.)

This one I'm a little more pleased with :3

Edited because apparently I managed to frick up the first image link? idk what happened it looked fine

Cleanser Lalli (don't ever give me watercolour pencils i don't know how they work) Scout Emil (that weird arm I can't be bothered to give an elbow to D: also there may or may not be emil booty whoops) and Lalli in Emil's Mora clothes..
I can never get Lalli's proportions aaaa I keep making him too long! XD

Owl, your Lallis and Emil look so cute!
Mad Robin, aww that's so sweet!
Rabbit, those are beautiful. That pencil sketch is so soft and lovely.
Shoop, your expressions are gold. I especially like the very superior Emil :D

And here's my art trade with Helia! She and I agreed that Onni needs some more love, so here's our favourite big brother in the dreamworld:
(Ugh, that cape was drawn and redrawn so many times! And now I see I forgot to put in the clasp and stichwork in front. Nghngh, maybe later).

Spoiler: with big, slightly unfinished background • show

mad robin - awww, so sweet <3 it's really a pitty Tuuri can't see her own beautiful dreamland
shoop - yes, yes, best to start the year with drawing Emil(s).
Rabbit - so detailed... both drawing is beautiful
OrigamiOwl - lovely drawings and good idea - although long boots are not the best for Emil :P

WOW  :o This is awesome and definitely my new favourite of your art.
I love the background forest, especially the beautiful autumn colours.
And Onni is charming as ever;I guess his stare can keep out most unexpected visitors.

I also wanted to draw Onni, but somehow ended up painting sleeping Lalli and worried Emil.
The dream grosslings didn't turn out the best though :/

Ooh, these are great! I think you did a pretty good job with the watercolor pencils...there's no real "right" way to use them, as far as I know. (I've used them a few times, and it seems like you can draw first and then add water, or wet the paper first then draw...or whatever combination of the two works for you). I'm really amused by Emil and Lalli wearing each other's clothes, hehe. :)

Rabbit those drawings are lovely! I liked your note about "an example of work that was salvaged from complete catastrophe with the judicious appliance of black ink" because I feel like it's a pretty good summation of traditional art in certain media. I once salvaged a watercolor by turning it upside-down and painting a bird over the place where a wonky face used to be.

shoop those are some great Emils!

And here's my art trade with Helia! She and I agreed that Onni needs some more love, so here's our favourite big brother in the dreamworld:

O_O WOW, Onni looks so intense! This is absolutely amazing!

I guess his stare can keep out most unexpected visitors.
Except for Reynir, who is oblivious. ;)

I also wanted to draw Onni, but somehow ended up painting sleeping Lalli and worried Emil.

Aww, this is sweet! What did you use to do the dream grosslings?
