Gwenno: that's a good Sigrun! I love her thoughtful and reminiscent expression, as she looks over her scars.

Eugh, I want to comment individually on all the fantastic art, but it's so late and I can't be stupid and stay up super late these days >"< Please take my blanket appreciation, I love everything being posted so much and it brightens up my day every time I see there's something new :3

Okay, so today's page may have destroyed me. As if Sigrun wasn't awesome enough as it is, now this?!?!? Which got me thinking about all her other injuries. Today's scar is just one more added to the collection really, and each scar is a reminder of a time she survived. Sometimes I find it hard to deal with her most best-ness, but drawing helps me cope >"<

Now that I'm finally done maybe I should go to bed.........

Oooohh yay! It works now! Very nice :D

Hey, about this thread's lack of Mikkel, does posting something of his great-granrelatives count?

It's the Madsen farm a few years later ^^

Ah! My favorite prologue characters! This is so great. I love the cheery colors and how you put the thicker black line around the outside of the couch/Michael's head. :)

Reynir and the ghosties ~///

Spoiler: lineart ver. • show
because I'm most proud of it

((its the cleanest one I've ever made ))
--

DUDe, the coloring on this is awesome! I love how it looks so smooth and clean, even though it has so much nice texture.

Anyhow, I wanted to draw a Finnish landscape, but I also wanted to draw something SSSS related because the costume design is just so nice.

Solution: draw a landscape with a generic Finnish night scout in it. There's a severe shortage of Mikkel and Tuuri art, but sadly this one won't add to that.

Not quite sure if I like the extra sharpness created when re-sizing or not. What I do like is the version without the foreground, because it shows the whole sky which I'm quite happy with:

Spoiler: show

The coloring here is also really really neat. I love how the red turned out, especially with the reflections on the water and shading on the marsh.

And I basically drew this after reading 417 and before the 418 update

I-
I was that bored

Your style is super cool! I love how your lineart looks, the thin and simple lines are so fun. And the coloring looks fantastic with it. :)

Speaking of memes, I found a really old one I used to love filling out! the counter square was actually pretty hard to do? I don't think Emil is naturally an angry guy.

SO CUTE

Thank you ^w^

^^ Hands are important expression tools
Ah, yes they can convey so much~ =3

Evil!Emil..... only one letter difference.
This is so good!! :D I like the concept of evil crewmembers ^^ Now I also want to draw Evil!Emil >.<

There are quite a few bunad Sigruns in this thread, but I couldn't leave her out, right?
Dalsnes is a fictional village, but it's supposed to be in the Sogn region, and it was ridiculously easy to find pictures of the sognebunad. So, 10 points to Norway for proudly making available all those beautiful traditional costumes. (To be honest, when I was searching for costumes from other Scandinavian countries, I always bumped into Norwegian bunads instead...)

Wow, she's really pretty :))

shaeira, shoop, Unlos, Johannabelle, Daéa Reina and Miss Honeyham

Thank you all. Colouring and landscapes are definitely my strong-suit, humans not so much. I should probably try to focus on humans solely the next time I find time to draw something.

I just love these watercolour paintings. They look like illustrations from a book focused on traditional clothing, which is nice.

Ouch. Although this is probably what most Norwegian captains really look like, at least judging by the amount of bandages we've seen applied to them.

Well... I can write my three-page refutation of a Neitzchean selection that's due tomorrow...
...or...
I can draw the way I imagine the gang "in real life."

I will always imagine Mikkel with what my family calls "Patrick eyes." Deep-set with that 'overhang' that keeps you from seeing the lids unless he raises his eyebrows, giving him a perpetually sleepy look.

Reynir looks a little weird when I try to apply gravity to that hair. Oh well. Freckles!

Oh, Emil. Insecure, slightly spoiled, pretty boy. What would the comic be without you?

*concern about the amount of sleep and food this smol twig child is getting*

Li'l chub, very cute.

And, of course, gorgeous, animated, and more than a little intimidating.
And with that I must be off again, Nietzche awaits. Continue being incredible, y'all, maybe someday I'll be able to go through all of the pages I'm missing out on. *tosses confetti and exits*
... Texas ... is a mystique closely approximating a religion. And this is true to the extent that people either passionately love Texas or passionately hate it....

RTR, I like those. Although the way I scrolled and the lag in my computer made Emil's face flip directly to Lalli-yawn, giving kind of a weeping-angel-jumpscare effect. X)
I'll do art-swaps and beta-reads, PM me!
