Does anyone remember this movie? Or the book series, even. Drawing this inevitably got me wondering what the dæmons of the main cast would be. Any ideas?
I think Sigrun's might be a mongoose called Kerry
Edit: you can ignore the slightly dodgy aspects of my lettering


I have never seen this movie, (or book series?) but WOW that crosshatching is AMAZING!

Forgot the movie and read the books. (My advice. The movie was a huge disappointment for me.)

Ehh the first book was alright, but i never finished the second one because the start was a bit weird.

( though i still remember being amused by the little companion turning in to a small dragon in the first one )

Announcement: As some of you may have noticed we have updated the forum rules pertaining to art posts. The changes/clarifications are as follows:


- Do not post pictures of, or links to, any pornographic material of any kind.  This will result in an immediate ban, no questions asked.  To cover cultural differences, I'll clarify that this rule includes most nudity. Non-erotic nudity is allowed if put under spoiler with a warning.

- please keep shippy content containing kissing or upcoming sexual actions under spoilers with a warning

- If the drawing contains blood/scariness/violence within what the canon SSSS comic has portrayed/contained, you do not need to put it under a spoiler

- If it does contain graphic gore or abject horror, it's not the best idea to post it outright. Please link or spoiler with a warning.


Remember, SSSS is rated PG-13. If you know your art is above a PG-13 rating then it cannot be posted here.

Okay but can we make it a rule that you're not allowed to put art in spoilers if it's completely PG? People shy-post beautiful art and it's annoying to click through spoilers for no reason at all.
(not an actual rule suggestion, but an actual suggestion for people to stop doing that)

also has anyone posted something non-PG-13 and I just missed it?

We can't make it a rule that people are not to use the spoilers, but it can be a suggestion yes. Please don't be afraid to post your art. Cuddling and blood splatters also don't need spoilers, cuddling because it's PG and doesn't have to imply romance, and blood splatters because they are in the comic.

I fiiiinally drew Emil and actually finished the drawing! I have a million little sketches of him but nothing that actually stands on it's own. Until now:
