TUURIMAMA AS CRAZY SISTER-IN-LAW. Yes. Lallimama has a brother now. I like your headcanon. I will keep it for myself.
Aaaand some Tuurimama with Lallimama and Lallipapa! (Sorry for the even-worse-than-usual artwork, it was done on a bus and the driver was... exciting. Also I'm too tired/lazy to really put in any actual effort today.)

(Lallipapa is supposed to be singing loudly and playing a kantele on the roof of a house, in case you can't tell.)

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!! And Tuurimama looks exactly like Tuuri! And Lallipapa being the one with the incredible passion for cookies! *-*

And YES, Tuurimama as the crazy sister-in-law, that's exactly how I imagined! And Tuuripapa is the more careful, scared one (like Onni).

Yesterday on Disqus we were discussing a "The Adventures of Tintin" AU, and I thought it would be cool to draw the characters in Hergé's style.

I'm not entirely happy about Mikkel and Sigrun, but Hergé's style is pretty fun to (try to) imitate.
Don't ask me why they're wearing what they are wearing, I just drew the clothes that I felt inclined to. And I put an anchor a la Captain Haddock on Sigrun's shirt because of reasons. :P

Ok, so... everyone is drawing mermaids (not all but... nevermind, I understand myself! (?) ) so I decided to do Fox!Sigrun because I'm practicing drawing canines. Anyways, I hope you all like this!

It looks like a Wolf but I started drawing those like... 2 days ago only.

I've been working on this for a while. And now that it has been unveiled to its recipient, I can share!

The idea for Sigrun to have a cheetah comes from Lars, so I drew it for his birthday.

I should not turn my back to this thread for a second, it always fills up with awesomeness so fast!

This is really beautiful and Lars is very lucky! I've also been seeing the head on Tumblr before with notes that it was a work in progress, and though I knew I could expect a lot I could never have imagined this level of awesomeness as end result! Yesss to the most best grade A cat.

Yeah, I think he's handsome but so painfully boring. Predictable, no inner or outer conflict whatsoever, and has a bad case of "animal personality" which is a pet peeve of mine *ahem*. I actually didn't look forward to his introduction - I really liked the dynamic within the team before he came along (and one extra character statistically means less screen time for the ones I like). Once he was here, I tried to give him a chance, but so far he's disappointed me. I pretty much consider the Reynir-only pages a waste of good comic, except for the beautiful dream landscapes we had this week.

There! I don't always comment, but when I do, I say things that make everyone in the room hate me ;) (This is actually true irl as well.)

Oh thank gods, I thought I was the only one.

And on that note, have a very messy Reynir and some dream swirls courtesy of my Friday afternoon class :')

Starz, whoohoooo you finished it! \o/ And how! <3
I know you were despairing over the spots but my favourite part has to be the the light on the fur, you can almost feel the silkiness.

I don't know why, but she reminded me of Tails.

I don't know why, but I love messy and incomplete sketches. Sometimes I give up on inking a drawing because I just like the way it looks, with the gridlines (is that the word?) and all.
By the way, Reynir's coat looks a little Snufkin-esque on your drawing! :)
