Sorry, I was trying to put this in the part of the thread where Haiz and Solovei were talking about this stuff a few pages back, but missed!

No need to apologize.  :)  This is an unhelpful aspect of the SMF software -- posts are strictly in time-stamp order, rather than branched or grouped.  The only way (that I know of) to indicate that you're replying to a post other than one right above you is to quote it, as I did.
"The music of what happens," said great Fionn, "that is the finest music in the world."

OOOooOOH NEAT, he looks so cute and fierce here - and that's perhaps the first time I've actually used those words to describe Emil. I like your style and pencilwork, is this your first time posting in the art thread? Because please feel free to post more whenever :3c
(and your avatar is cool, too)

I drew Sigrun yesterday, sorry for breaking this mermaid/crossover drawing chain, orz'''
So I tried coloring/shading with the markers that I haven't touched in a little while, and this somehow happened wth

ahhh no don't be sorry for breaking the chain, it'll come around. I like this sigrun a lot lot!!! I'm really impressed by the colouring/shading on the... troll? the thing. it's really cool and abstractish and that's my jam

oh gosh what a cute family

P.S. If you have any tips, say, pointing out proportions that I got wrong? I know that the poses are totally stiff and that I completely slaughtered the faces, but bad proportions are harder for me to pick out.
ahahaha this is exactly what would happen
I think proportions are pretty okay-looking? I would've drawn Tuuri a little rounder, maybe
you'll know where to find me.

Thanks! Yep, I've been lurking for a while and always forget to tell everyone how cool and awesome their art is. Even if it's not superbly executed I still love to see different takes on the character and laugh at the jokes. Also the mermaid trend is the best thing to happen to this community ever. Srsly.

But yeah, I plan to do some more fanarts if I can get over my laziness.

Yeah, it supposed to be a troll Sigrun killed. XD (At least in this picture hehehe)

I just noticed today that the monitor screen on the computer I use at home shows it as blue. xDD So the scanner DIDN'T mess up. Darn screen.

This is really cool! She looks a little like an android to me. I don't know, it just gives me some Isaac Asimov feelings.

LOOKIT THE BEAUTIFUL SIGRUN!!! I love the stylization!
AND ALL OF THE MERMIKKELS ETC. ARE PERFECTION. I've got an idea for my own contribution knocking around right now... let's see if anything comes of it. :)
In the interim, a continuation of the "Big brother Mikkel" headcanon: baby Mikkel with four of his little siblings.

(I knocked this one out in like 5 minutes so it's not very good at all, sorry.)

What are you saying, this is so cute!! I'm really loving the family portraits, Mikkel looks like the most best big brother. And he would be everybody's favorite uncle in the future. :)

Sorry for the bad scanner quality and general bad skills.

This is really nice! I think the proportions are alright!
And Lalli keeps his cat behavior, even when he is basically half-fish. :P
