But anyways, I usually draw animals rather than people, so I kind of turned the cast into animals for fun
/is totally not weird/

Oh, my, flib. O^O

I've never done a full-fledged work of fan art before, but what better way to express admiration for my favorite comic, right? I'm working on a series of the main cast with cats, and I started with Tuuri. It's still in the early stages (gotta fix that stray eyebrow and super-long arm), but it's so much fun to paint. Once I've finished, Lalli or Emil will be next, since I already have fun sketches for them!

Not sure if this is on topic or not, but while going through Minna's DA I found some old concept art
and

For all of the people who love Emil and Lalli

there's some cuteness in there
I squealed like an idiot XD

it's also amazing how much Minna's style has changed in the last two years o3o

Yes, Minna's style have become more "dirty" looking, which is for the better, although that may be a much more deliberate decision on her part.
And Lalli\'s personality clearly got an overhaul from what was initially imagined, though him and Emil being close seems a lot more precious when Lalli is so reserved and Emil is so proud.

Yeah, it's weird when he smiles XD
But I just love how there's a bunch of stuff of him and Emil hanging out

I just want to squish them <3

It seemed so strange in those older images to see Lalli 1) willingly conversing and 2) smiling!
Notice that in Underpass, he's wearing much more normal boots and his sleeves/gauntlets don't look that different from Emil's.  Of course, this was before the Great Uniform Shift.

I'm intrigued that in the first of the Speed Paintings, Minna could already distinguish her team by sihouette alone:  Bulky, tall and willowy, scrawny with rifle, and confidently mansplaining to the rest of the team.  Only Tuuri is missing here.
"The music of what happens," said great Fionn, "that is the finest music in the world."

So because of Emil's recent side mirror breaking shenanigans, I made this.

and in case you're unfamiliar with One Piece, here's the original manga panel.

I was very confused for a minute, but then I realized it was proper manga and read right to left. Also, it's awesome! :D

Don't quote yourself kids, it's bad form.

Not really shipping so much as "really want Lalli and Braidy to be quite close friends". I have this picture of them two holding each other's hands and turning around in a stereotypical romantic film way, with sparkles and floating hearts, except thought bubbles reveal Lalli has no idea what's going on and Braidy just thinks this is a fun game to do with his friend and doesn't realise what it looks like from the outside.

With possibly onlooker Tuuri going "eeee" and onlooker Emil thinking "what the HECK?".

[a request for the art thread???]

Finally got around to joining the forum!
Anyway someone mentioned wanting some fanart of Emil wearing a tiara so I did a real quick quicky and went ahead and put him in drag? Also, it was really late when I did it and I have no idea how the sash turned into a grumpy sash cat...ummm...*cough* Ahem...Hope it is at least a bit of amusement for some
