Thank you (+all the others who commented on that thing of mine)! :D I shall continue letting my hand slip every now and then. As to how I do it, it's mainly a combination of boredom, pain, tears, and frustration(inking is so not my thing, but coloring is fun). And a dash of movie soundtracks.


...Okay no I actually had much fun with this, I got to play around with brushes for those wings and stuff :D

I use Paint Tool SAI, it's pretty cheap (Photoshop Elements and Corel Painter Essentials are not very expensive either), but if you want free software, I too would recommend GIMP or Krita

I use Krita, and I think it's great! I've tried Gimp too, but I think that's more suited for pixel art, tbh. (The Tuuri talksprite thing I made a while back was done with Gimp, for example)

I personally use photoshop cs5 (I got it free from my dad's second-hand laptop that already had it installed oops), but I've also used Pixelmator, and it's pretty nice! Much better for easy pixeling that photoshop and fun to mess around on. It's only available on mac though. I heard it's like fifteen bucks now too??

It's not that I want it to be all the way down to my pants, more like to the middle of my back or something xP
My hair pretty much looks like this (but lighter) and I can only get it to just below my shoulders:


So when I see long luscious wavy hair like Braidy's I get jealous xD

Yes, it's probably something about the BBC coding.  I could visit the DA link just fine (and it's a cute picture).  But it takes a few extra magic words or something to make links display images on this forum.

I swear, all I have been drawing lately is Braidy. Hopefully having this finished will allow me to move on. (perhaps to Sigrun?)


anyways, have a Braidy! I initially wasn't going to add a background but then was like why not. It's the mage dream world if that's not apparent  :P

also periwinkle and teal is my new favorite color combination help
