Woah, haven't checked in here in a couple days.  :o
Awesome stuff, Sigrid!
so well deserved praise will get us more of your art!
so; AWESOME! and if this is you not understanding anatomy... :D

thanks for posting

Thanks! Oh no, Lars, you have found my weakness D: I just can't resist flattery. Give me enough compliments and you can get me to do almost anything. It's almost sad cx

Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Awesome.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

sitting here and thinking about how the SSSS-verse would change things... like everyday things... for instance why would a child wand a teddy-bear when there are no bears out there.... wouldn't turn out something like this

first drawing in years... u guys are severely inspiring!

That is insanely creepy and I love it! You should draw more :D (And I realize I just quoted you twice in the same post... It seemed necessary)

Hi again guys! Finally graduated from art college, so I'm starting to touch up the Braidy/Lalli piece I made about a month ago. I fell in love with the current chapter's color palette, and changed the piece accordingly!

Woah. WOAH. It's beautiful
And congrats on graduating! :D

EDIT: Oooh, I completely forgot about this one! *has to comment on everything to cope with the traumas of internet withdrawal*
My little work in progress from tonight's chat room mania :

So cute! And so many beautiful details

All those amazing pictures -- and all in different styles!  I love 'em!

If you're taking requests, how about Tuuri in a summer outfit?  Like a Marimekko-print dress?  (We were speculating... I think in the Uniform Overanalyzing thread... about what the Finns would wear in the summertime.  Would it still be the same "cheap, plain, and practical" clothes, or would they get to show a little more individual style?  Would Lalli and Onni wear shorts?  Would Tuuri get a cute little straw hat to wear on the tractor?)

"The music of what happens," said great Fionn, "that is the finest music in the world."

Thanks! I like to experiment with different art styles and techniques. Even if it's a style I end up never using again, it's still an experience I'm taking with me, and that will contribute to making my art more varied and myself more flexible as an artist. I've learned that when it comes to visual arts, anything you do improves your skills on all other fields as well.

As for Tuuri in a summer dress, not only will I draw it, but it's actually something I've been wanting to draw for a while now. I believe I sort of promised curiosity a Supernatural Mikkel, though, so I'll do that first. However, I'm a bit busy presently, so nothing will get drawn today. Sadly. Believe me when I say I'd much rather draw silly fan art than unpack and organize all my stuff from boxes.

YAY! I would say that you got those uniforms to work really good! and that you nailed their personalities!

Who's next?
Most likely to be Tuuri and Lalli, I have no idea how I'll do Mikkel... and braidy will also make an appenrance. I cant wait to continue >A<
I'll also redo the lines when I figure out how Manga Studio works.... this will take some time B":

This is too perfect.

Thanks! I'm used to drawing pretty girls, long hair and - if I'm feeling especially daring - young men/boys with kind of feminine features. So I'm waaaay out of my comfort zone with this. I can't even see my comfort zone any more. My comfort zone is Finland and I'm Onni on an express train to China

:o :o :o :o :o

I think that means you like it? That means you like it, right?

OF COURSE we like it!!!   ;D

And now you have to draw Onni on an express train to China.  Of course he'll be scowling.  (Maybe he needs one of Mikkel's Magical Cookies of Joy.)
