Your pain and toil were worth it! It's so amazing, I can feel a chill going down my spine whenever I look at it. I love how Sleipnope is hanging over Lalli's shoulder like a villain who just converted him to the dark side.

Who said that she has too much to do? ... yeah. My Lady Procrastination has me tightly in her greasy claws and thus I present you three fanarts (b/w) today for JStevens' Fanfic "Come to Me" over at AO3. It's heartwrenching, heartwarming and a lot of other stuff to do with hearts and I heartily recommend it. ;D And I'll stop now before someone calls the pun-police.

On to the art: Not so happy with the first one. I like the pose but I couldn't get Emil's face right. So ... meh. Still posting it because I did it twice and I don't want that time of my life wasted. ;D Scene is taken from Chapter 7.

The second one is more to my liking. I like the pose and the faces and the Dandelions and Great Plantains. ^^ I just love doing squiggly background nature. Scene is from Chapter 12.

Haven't read the story yet (I will take your recommendation on board), but I am loving the art!  My favourite is Lalli in the second drawing, so very.... Hotakainen.

I am very satisfied with Lalli's pose in No 2 as well: wanting to crawl into himself but nevertheless to proud and stubborn to back down.

Thank you for the praise! =) I am very proud of their body-languages and poses too. It seems I have to accept the realisation that it is better sometimes to redo a pic for better effect. As I did with the second pic as well (let's not talk about No 1) - Emil's arms and hands look way better than in the first draft.
