I ended up with two prompts left and a challenge that's ending today, so for the prompts "Sigrun failing" and "Emil succeeding" I drew this thing:

Based on this fic by OwlsG0:

Sigrun decided they ought to name the lynxes after the other crew members. After watching this one for a few days, (long enough to observe its golden fur and endearing clumsiness) Lalli named it Emil. :P

I had a vision... the face Emil puts when he finally gets irrefutable proof that Lalli's magic is not just a title...

Edit: as always, I forgot which side Emil's hair is supposed to part, so I had it wrong... as always (and the face & hair was the first thing I draw. I had gone halfway through the detail outline when I realized -_- ), so I flipped the image so Emil's hair is right, but all the rest of his cleansing attire is mirrored the wrong way... someday I'll remember to do your hair right, Emil, someday.

Ahhhh this is so good !!! I love the idea and the mood of this and I like how whisp-y and flow-y his hair looks, it's all just pretty great.
