Martti, that's a lovely Reynir! A beautiful shy smile, and eyes that hope so hard that you'll like him - or at least not be too offended by his existence! Makes me want to give him a reassuring hug - and a congratulatory hug to you, if you take hugs!

Shy smile? it supposed to be a regular smile, not a shy one, oops?

Martti, that's a great portrait and I especially like the braid *wearing a braid today myself* O0

braids are fun to draw.... HAIR is always fun to draw!
or it is only me?

Aww, Martti, that's awesome! You lightened my gloomy and rainy day!  :)
well the day is sunny here lately, luckily now it is less warm, then it was few days ago
and only in sunny day I paint, because I need the sunlight to see the paper correctly (lamp light sucks)

Martti: that is lovely!

yes.

Nope, hair's really fun to draw. :) (At least long hair, which i can actually sort-of draw...) And the braid looks amazing, I wish I had your skills.  :))

I bring another teeny piece of art! My aim is to fill this place up with silly looking Emils, am I succeeding?

Reynir, and his hair.

Wow, this is so pretty! :D I'm impressed by how good your watercolors are after such a short amount of time!

I dunnno
I kept asking people who could use watercolour but nobody ever said anything helpful.

I saw 1-2 speedpainting with watercolour and I noticed one thing. which I did not realize well on a finished piece and I decided to try
I got the watercolour and IT WORKED how I imagined to use. those videos were not telling anything, not really a tutorial, jsut seeing someone drawing a brush on paper and colours appear. (kind of)

and then when I noticed how it kinda works, I needed to figure out a way of my own.

I was always selfteaching art. mostly I taught by looking at FINISHED arts for anything, like anatomy, outlining colouring (digitally), and that is mostly what I did for watercolour TOO. but without some speedpainting maybe I don't find out from the finished arts.

AND when I figure out one thing, I manage to be good with it pretty fast. (only 5 arts I did with watercolour since I figured out how to watercolour.) who needs tons of practising?.....  not me >3>"..... it's more like I got bored of practising, and on paper, it would be too much paper-wasting just to keep testing things all the time, so I do actual arts.... if I had better ideas what to draw I might have drawn more already.

Well it's obviously the hair sparkles -Twilight taught us that vampires sparkle, Emil's hair sparkles, it's only logical! ;D

It comes very well with Tanz der Vampire/Dance of the Vampires musical, if you know that.
