Nice! That blade reminds me of an old Fairbairn-Sykes fighting knife.

Indeed. To be fair it is more a dagger than a knife, but still an icon.

This one is perhaps a bit too large to be a F-S, too heavy. Something that you can use for slashing as well as stabbing.

Yes, the reference I very loosely followed was this
I think the knife I drew is a cross between the reference and Emil's knife in the comic.

Thank you for the nice words, Superdark33, Yuuago, Laufey and Róisín!

Nice damascening on the reference-pic blade. Though I never liked those wire-wrapped handles - the old-fashioned brass hilt, maybe with a soft flat leather binding, I think gave better grip.

As do I! Lovely job, Sc0ut!

I've been doing a lot of SSSS doodles of late:

Here's fancy waiter!Emil, a planning drawing for my prompt in the Multimedia Fanworks Exchange (he's been forced to slick back his hair, which is one of a myriad of reasons as to why he hates being a fancy waiter):

And some doodles of REYnir, as in Rey from The Force Awakens :D (also featuring baby Reynir asleep in a sheep in some definitely inaccurate clothing xD)

Aaaaaaaa ginger I love all of that! Especially waiter!Emil! (I may be biased just a little bit here. ;D) The slicked back hair is awesome and hilarious and I love it.  ^-^
And REYnir! Rey and Reynir's hairstyles combine to form the most epic hair of all.   :D

And whoa, Scout, that is a truly impressive Sigrun. Wow. *stares in awe*

This week the media was full of pictures of this big cooking contest (Bocuse d'Or; the European semi final was in Budapest and suprisingly won by the local team).
And what does an artsy Minnion do after looking at too many photos of competing chefs?
This:

*hyperventilates* So perfect, I love your drawing style anyway, but applied to this image, it is truly wondrous.  OMG Reynir & carrots FTW!!! (Yes, all the exclamation points!!!! My inner teenager needs more exclamation points!!)

This is really beautiful! Perhaps the part I like the best is her hands, just because they're kind of dainty. As a woman with absolutely tiny, elfin hands, it fills me with tiny-handed pride to have a powerful woman as a part of my tiny-handed tribe.
I saw the future.

That made me laugh. Your hands sound rather like those of my tiny aunt. She was about 4'8", very dainty and fine-boned. Once I passed ten years old I grew too big for her gloves, shoes and rings (I used to love playing dress-up with her stuff as a tiny child, because she had such impeccable taste). I was a bit under 4'11" and I used to feel huge next to her, because I have my father's stocky muscular build, and she was so dainty! She was fierce though, and a skilled martial artist - it was she who taught me sword and staff. She had been a nurse in a field hospital in France, during the First World War. She lived past 106, still independent.

My own hands are small but broad, stubby and not dainty at all - gnarly arthritic gardener's hands. I love how Scout has done Sigrun's hands in this picture!
