Hee, "the magic of Macy's"!  I love the graceful, sketchy style -- it reminds of mid-century picture books and fashion drawings.  (Even the original illustrations to "Mary Poppins.")

The display came out a little too wide for my cramped, old-fashioned screen, though.  Would you consider downsizing it just a bit, so we don't have to scroll?

Yay thanks! I'll... look into shrinking it *stares at coding options on hosting site with raw terror*

Have you seen our resizing options?  They're really not hard.  Heck, *I* can do them.

Refer to the very first post in this thread.  I believe it was Lenny who kindly added image posting/resizing tips.

That's adorable! I love the rosy cheeks  ;D And ha, I personally haven't drawn Tuuri because I think her hair is hard to draw!

(I'd personally like to see more Mikkel art)
Haha, I actually found it pretty easy~ But yes, I would also like to see some art of Mikkel... >_> (I don't think I could draw facial hair though...)

So glad to see our plucky girl getting some attention!  And I bet she'd love to have something that cute to wear.

Do you think Marimekko is still a thing in Finland, 90-plus years after The End?
I hope so! Their designs are really cute~

I tried to find a pattern that could potentially look like it was embroidered by hand... I think handicrafts like sewing and needlework might make a comeback in the absence of a large-scale clothing manufacturing industry (that wasn't connected to the military, that is). Big cities like Mora and Reykjavik might have several tailor shops that sell handmade items, but people in smaller settlements like Keuruu probably would do their own sewing.

Thank you! C: I actually own a similar dress IRL...
I normally suck at drawing clothes though but if I didn't I would do a whole series of, like, "The Crew in regular/modern-day clothes"

>_> I may have even spent quite while considering what they would wear outside of their uniforms and stuff...

(I typed out this reply before I left the house this morning, but I somehow managed to forget to actually post it. I guess it's still relevant, so I'm just going to post it now, 11 hours later)
Soo, I was thinking that we see A LOT of Lalli art and a few things of Braidy art but there's not that much art of Tuuri floating around.

Please excuse my terrible attempt at coloring!. Also since we mostly see Tuuri in military gear or big jackets I thought it would be cute to draw her in something a little more girly...

Aww, she looks adorable! And your colouring isn't terrible at all. Quite the opposite, actually! I love the subtle shadowing in her face. It's not very easy to see, but it still creates a very nice effect c: Tuuri looks really cute in that top too~

I know the top you drew is meant to be from year 90, but after seeing Tuuri in more casual clothing, now I really want to draw modern day outfits for them aaaall

Haha, I do that all the time when I'm chatting with people! And then I think "why haven't they replied yet...OH!"
Oh gosh if someone were to actually draw them like that I would be eternally grateful to that person.

Hello! Here's the promised picture of Lalli! I messed up his uniform coat, so I drew what I imagined what he would wear underneath it. I might eventually color it, but I think it looks nice like this. Enjoy!

Well I had fun.

Exploring the Marker Lands

It's a picture, but I can't figure out how to put the picture here. (I've tried a dozen different ways.)

If it wasn't that late, I would've laughed. A lot. But so I behaved.
I actually could imagine Torbjörn like that in his youth, but Siv... this is just too perfect.  ;D
Also, are those little SSSS-sign buttons?

Glad you liked it, that makes two days' efforts worth it  :)

Actually, those are badges, but yes, with that exact logo  ;D

(Actually, I meant badges, but they're called buttons in German, obviously taken from the English word.)
