I may or may not let you read it when I've revised it some times. But keep in mind that it is entirely written in German...  ;)

And I'm looking forward to your song!

Yay for songs!

And if you do let us read your story, I - think - I know enough German to understand sentence structure and use a dictionary. I approve of revising.
Nimphy, I am going to revise it at least once before I let you see it - but if it takes longer than I expect I'll let you see what I have at the end of December.

Okay, the original poem/song will probably come later if I find the courage to finish it and post it, but for now enjoy this quick parodyof Still Alive I wrote in a few minutes before even winning!

This was a triumph!
I'm making a note here - HUGE SUCCESS!
It's hard to overstate my satisfaction.

I wrote a novel!
In just a month because I can.
Fifty thousand words for all!
(But not the ones who have failed)

Now there's no sense crying over English mistakes,
We just kept on writing 'til we ran out of snacks,
And the writing got done, and December has begun!
(I'm surprised we're all still alive!)

I am so happy!
I'm being so sincere right now!
Even though NaNo took my pride and killed it...
And also all my grades...
Add to that social life as well.
As they burned it felt good 'cause
I was writing a BOOK!

Now these stats of mine make a beautiful line,
And November is over, I have finished on time!
So I'm glad I worked a lot,
Think of all the things I wrote
(At the least, we are still alive!)

Go have fun without me,
I have no time for it right now.
Need to figure out what to do with the book...
Maybe I'll publish!
That was a JOKE - HAHA! FAT CHANCE!
Anyway NaNo is great!
(Thank God it's over for now)

Look at me still singing,
I have editing to do,
When you look at me I bet you're glad it's not you!
I have plots I should reset,
Spelling mistakes to correct
(But at least, I'll be still alive!)

And believe me, I am still alive!
I wrote a novel and I'm still alive!
It was FANTASTIC! (And I'm still alive)
Th'song goes on saying "I'm still alive!"

Still alive! Still alive...

I aaaam! Nanowrimo was actually really helpful in getting me to plan/write large chunks of story. Now I'm sort of dragging.

...but wait, April/ May are Standardized Testing Month(s). Hm. I'll try to gleefully ignore my schoolwork make time...

To be honest, I've been trying for a week or two to start revising my NaNo novel. At least I've printed out my draft, that's a first step, right?  ::)
And maaaybe I'll write some more in April. I'd really like to.

I sadly failed to complete NoNo in November (life, ugh), but this I think I can do. Especially if I know other people who are doing it. :D

Me! Memememe! *excitedly waves hands* I'm only aiming for 25k words during this camp though, but since I'm going to write in english it felt better with a lower word count. It takes more time for me to formulate my sentences in english than in swedish. Although I bet my characters will start talking japanese just to screw me over since they know I don't know any japanese!

My stories frequently features themes such as death, suicide, mourning, etc; I cannot give precise warnings for each individual stories, as it would spoil the intrigues.

I am! I'm still trying to decide what word count I should aim for.

I'm going to be trying to get some scripts done this month, so I'm aiming for ~100 pages at ~180 words each, rounded up to 20000. I'll have to see whether this is ambitious or underachieving.

Also, is anyone interested in being cabin-mates? I've started a private cabin, so if you'd like to join, just tell me your NaNo username.

I was considering a private cabin, but I'd also love to get to meet other writers, so I think I'll choose the random cabin option. I get to talk to you guys on this thread, anyways, so meeting other writers would be a nice change.
