That's not a really good joke though. North Koreans do not refer to North Korea as "North Korea", just as "Korea".

Well what I meant is the joke is clearly written from an outsider's perspective. For Koreans there is only one Korea, one half of which happened to be occupied by an illegitimate government. (Same deal as China/Taiwan, if you will).

Frankly, I still find it more impressive to see Elleth's marker ~15km out in the fairway from Bremerhaven harbor into the North Sea ...

I learn something new every day from you folks, if I am fortunate.
I think North Sentinel might be a good pick, as I can't picture sea beasts getting across those reefs easily.  However, I can picture a transmission vector from rats swimming ashore from boats wrecked on the reefs, which Wikipedia tells me is a fairly regular occurrence.

I do wonder how a lot of the East Indies/Other Asian Islands did. That's mostly all archipelago.
I mean, we can figure Japan came out fairly well. Since they closed their borders early along with Iceland and Madagascar.
