Heh. In case you didn't know it, fellow users, when I leveled up to Ruler of a Derelict Airport back in March, the airport I chose as my territory was one whose owners actually hadn't - and haven't - yet given up on getting it operational; we're talking about the supposedly-future international airport of our capital, Berlin-Brandenbug (BER).

However, it seems that my intuition was right, and please allow me to purge the delusion from anyone who still thinks that us Germans are all born organizers and Always_Have_A_Plan (tm): Only one week or so after it was found that some of the ventilators built into the halls' celings are twice as heavy as the statics would allow, the newest finding is that some 600 fireproof walls fail to be fireproof due to improper material being used, necessitating them to get knocked down and built anew.

Requests from some second-row politicians to have the whole thing razed and rebuilt from scratch were met with conspicuously prompt claims from the first row that nobody involved considers that an option ....... hardy har. 8)

Congratulations to Unwary, who reached Scout level over the weekend.  Among other things, he's the master of interactive fiction, leading a creative writing circle, and (like many of us) pursuing an impressive range of hobbies.  Let's raise a toast -- the matter-synthesizing food and drink dispensers in his Shared Story provide free drinks!   8)

Hah, now you'd all better watch out.
But I'm happy to be able to help; seeing as I don't really contribute anything in the way of original content to the forum, I'm glad I can at least help manage what is posted. Gives all the properly talented people more time to keep making such great art, writing, everything else that the community makes.
